"Why are you running away?"
Zade, who would usually at least glare at Rai just to annoy him, tried walking past him today without even looking at him.
And Rai wasn't letting it slide.
He wanted the attention.
'…I don't need attention.'
Rai tensed slightly when Zade suddenly turned back around before walking over and dropping onto the sofa carelessly, legs spread, arms stretched across the backrest like he owned the entire apartment.
Rai instinctively stepped away from the sofa instead.
"Who is running away here?" Zade asked lazily. "Come sit here."
Rai frowned as Zade patted the empty spot next to him, but he didn't move an inch.
"You see," Zade started coldly, "I am already mad. And I was planning not to talk to you so I wouldn't get even more pissed."
"What are you even mad about?" Rai snapped. "If you want me to apologize then I wi-"
"Yeah. Do it."
Rai stopped.
"…Do what?"
"Apologize." Zade tilted his head mockingly. "You can learn if you don't know how to."
