"So powerful," Li Yun muttered after finally steadying himself.
If not for the fact that his Golden Battle Body had evolved beyond the fourth stage during the Eternal Sky Trial, he would never have been able to catch that qi longsword with his bare hands. Had his Golden Battle Body remained at only the fourth stage, his hands would have been severely burned the moment he tried to stop it.
Now, however, he felt only a lingering burning sensation in his palms. That discomfort was already fading as the self healing ability of the Golden Battle Body began to take effect.
"Li Yun, do you wish to continue?" Zhang Lang asked when he saw Li Yun standing in silence, mistaking his stillness for injury.
"Yes, Senior Brother Zhang," Li Yun replied.
He suppressed the remaining heat in his palms and calmly prepared himself for the next attack.
"Since that is your decision, then so be it."
