Xiao Qingxue listened carefully, memorizing each face, each name, each subtle interaction.
Though her expression remained calm, her thoughts moved swiftly beneath the surface.
"This man…" she thought, glancing briefly at Lin Feng. "He really is different from what I expected."
There was no arrogance in him, no oppressive aura despite his strength.
Instead, there was an ease and an almost effortless control over the environment around him.
And perhaps that was what made him the most dangerous.
When the introductions ended, she stepped forward without hesitation and took a seat at the table.
"Thank you, Master Lin Feng," she said softly.
Her tone was respectful, but there was no trace of submission… only acknowledgment.
As she settled in, the atmosphere slowly returned to its previous liveliness, though an undercurrent of curiosity remained.
A new presence had joined the group. Three of them, in fact, arrived today.
