My stepsister was yet to accept what she just heard and while our food was about to be served, Lauren stopped the maids from doing so.


"My sister and my woman are yet to arrive," he insensitively said and my heart broke even more.


By now I should have gotten used to this unrequited love but I couldn't get used to it.


I was looking at him with so much pain in my eyes but not once did he look at me.


I was seated at the far end of the table since I was the queen while he was seated at the other far end of the table where the kings sit.


"What woman? The queen is already here," Marcus confusedly said and everyone heard it.


My stepsister and two other men from my kingdom were seated on my left while Marcus was seated on the king's right. His sister and Lady Peculiar will also sit on the right due to tradition.
