I was just taking a quiet late-night walk when I found… a child sleeping inside a dumpster.

One thing led to another, and suddenly I became the accidental father of a kid no older than ten.


The next morning, I woke up from a vivid dream. A mysterious Victorian woman whispering about "calamity, dungeons, portals, another world… yeah, good luck bro." She said all of that in the most casually elegant Victorian tone imaginable.

But the real nightmare started when a floating screen appeared in front of me, spouting nonsense about quests and objectives.


The day I picked up a child in a dumpster was the day my ordinary life ended.


And that was when our story truly began.



and most of all.

this novel takes at year 2029.

The sound of bone collapsing echoed through the chamber as the munches skull caved in under the pressure of her grip.


The Munch didn't even get to finish its sentence.


Blood, brains,  and fragments of bone burst outward as its body dropped instantly to the ground, lifeless.


Then the remaining Munches erupted into wild chanting again.


They rushed forward excitedly, grabbing the corpse of their fallen companion and dragging it away like it was nothing more than discarded trash.


And their voices echoed through the chamber as they began filing out through the doorway, still shouting praises as they disappeared back into the tunnels.


One by one, their voices faded into the distance.
