Kai had decided to use one of his precious Inventory Slots for the Status Crystal since it was an expensive item. It could only be obtained by purchasing from the Gene Trader using Survivor Medals.
"I got it…" Kai said as he pulled out the Status Crystal.
He had only used them on locals, but he had never tried them with Claire and the other Foreign Survivors.
After all, it only had 50 charges, and after using it about 40 times, he didn't have enough left. He could recharge it by spending Spirit Points, but he wasn't sure how many Spirit Points would be needed for a single charge. That would only be known once it was completely empty.
He held it up, stepping closer to Terrence.
The bound man squirmed… His eyes widened as he realized what was about to happen.
