The man was sent away after surrendering all his resources, his Survivor Medals, and even the unused Arm Replacement Implant. If he ever came back for revenge, Marissa's "curse" would ensure they knew the moment he got close.
Kai, however, wasn't dwelling on Terrence anymore.
He knew that even if the man tried coming back, he believed he would no longer be concerned about Hypnotism.
After all, he was already getting closer to activating the Sentinels hidden in his base. With the circuit board and other components he would eventually acquire, he was confident he'd be able to control those androids. If that happened, their shelter's defenses would rise to a whole new level.
For now, though, everyone focused on spending their Survivor Medals. The Gene Trader's system and wares were laid out, and the survivors crowded around.
