"Even here you want to leave me?" He spoke hurtfully, his tone cracking with the simmering pain in his chest.
"What are you talking about?" She was angry, glaring at him. She didn't want to be there. She did not want to hear a word from him. How could she trust him?
After he locked her up right after confessing, did not hear her say what she wanted to, and left her like that in that hotel room.
Now, he was coming back after hours.
How could she love someone like him? She was cursing herself for loving someone like him.
"I don't want to be just your boss." He said, his throat tight, gazing down at her.
"You've already said it. Now, I want to go."
He was holding a wildfire inside his heart for so many years. Now, he had the chance to let it free. Discarding the fear completely, and what she had said, he grasped her wrists and pushed her backwards, leading her towards the large glass.
He pinned her hands against the glass, his chest heaving and grunted against her lips, "don't you understand? …. I.. love you."
A tremor courses through her heart, she doesn't trust him. Who would if they confess like that?
She tried freeing her hands, jerking them, but he grasped them strongly, and rested his face on her neck with a quivering breath. "Please…" His tone was tender, almost like he was crying, trying to make her believe him. "I love you."
Suddenly she feels dampness against her neck and instantly pulls his face before her. He blinks at her with soaked eyelashes. She finds herself in total astonishment.
"Please, believe me, I love you. I have for so many years."
