This morning, brilliant sunlight shone into the bedroom, but Jasmine was awakened by a familiar suffocating sensation.
Opening her eyes, as expected, she saw the Black Dragon sprawling on her body like a giant octopus, sleeping soundly. His increasingly heavy weight made it difficult for her to breathe. Not knowing whether he was having some beautiful dream, the corners of his mouth, full of sharp teeth, still had a suspicious transparent liquid lingering that soaked her clothes. That strong, hard-scaled tail even tightly wrapped a half-circle around her waist, as if afraid she would run away. If it weren't for his small wings not being fully developed enough to cover her, Jasmine guessed that perhaps her entire body would be completely hidden without a trace beneath the Black Dragon's glossy black scales.
