The Gryphon chased out of the forest was an adult male; its originally majestic appearance now looked truly pathetic.
Before even reaching the front of the giant dragon, that male Gryphon prostrated on the ground with a "thud." all four legs sprawled out, its entire body trembling violently in fear.
Its mouth opened and closed, purring as it begged for mercy, its panicked eyes looking at the black dragon.
Even though it was kicked in the rump a few times by the Gryphon leader to urge it on, it did not dare to get too close to the giant dragon, as if taking one more step closer would mean being incinerated.
Jasmine observed silently; from this male Gryphon's expression of extreme fear, she could clearly feel how massive the giant dragon's influence and absolute authority over these ferocious beasts was.
