Hazel froze briefly, then shot him a cold gaze. "It's nothing serious. Just the heat."
"Oh, is that so…"
Kaiser clearly didn't believe her, but he didn't pursue the matter as it was barely relevant. It wasn't like Awakened could get seriously ill from simple sicknesses after all.
"I'll get going then. I'll leave their academics into your hands. Please do not let them fail."
Saying that, Hazel stood up and left his room. Kaiser stared at the closed door and slowly exhaled.
"Hm. Did she just come here to tell me that?"
Although suspicious, he ignored it entirely. He still had one more person to visit tonight, after all.
After cooking a light dinner and taking a thirty minutes nap, he picked up his phone and left his room.
