Tilly POV
I woke up hungry.
That was the first thing I noticed. The second thing I noticed was that I didn't know where I was.
The room was strange. The ceiling was too high. The walls were too pale. The bed was too big. I didn't recognize any of it.
I sat up. My neck hurt. I touched it. There was something there—a mark. I didn't remember how it got there.
I didn't remember anything.
I looked around the room. There was a window. A door. A dresser. A mirror. I looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't recognize myself.
I was hungry.
I climbed out of bed. My feet were cold on the floor. I walked to the door and opened it.
The hallway was huge and It stretched on forever. There were doors everywhere. Big doors. Small doors. Doors that looked like they led to other places.
I walked down the hallway to look for food.
I found a plate outside one of the doors. It had a half-eaten drumstick on it. I picked it up. I ate it.
Then I kept walking.
