Chapter 64 - Fault Tolerance

Oversight did not retaliate.

That was the first sign something had shifted.

There were no sanctions.

No warnings.

No public corrections.

Dreyden's name did not vanish from boards, nor did it rise. Lucas did not receive a reprimand for declining mentoring. Raisel was not "spoken to." No faction was dissolved. No rule was invoked.

The Triangle did nothing.

Which meant it had stopped treating the situation as a disciplinary issue.

And begun treating it as a systems problem.

The adjustment began at the edges.

Not with Dreyden.

With the scaffolding around him.

Training schedules across three wings were quietly reorganized—overlaps eliminated, peak congestion redistributed, shared resources reassigned to smaller, more controlled blocks. Not enough to be noticed by any single student.

Enough to separate crowds.

To slow informal clustering.
