When Kawasaki awoke, he found himself in the familiar yet strange world of Naruto. Moreover, he was now a member of the Uchiha clan.
Since he was already here, he had to make the best of it. Kawasaki focused on surviving in this new world.
Years later, Kawasaki finally managed to secure the position of an acting elder.

As he hurried toward the clan compound, Kawasaki examined the Newbie Gift Pack in his mind.
Is that all?! How stingy!
Sigh... Although he had plenty to complain about, staying alive was what mattered. Something was better than nothing.
Kawasaki quickly assessed the Uchiha clan's current situation:
It had been over four years since the Nine-Tails' Rampage.
In that time, the village's suspicion toward the Uchiha had grown daily. Restrictions were placed on them at every turn, making life difficult for the clansmen.
The Military Police Force, in particular, was a thankless job. The proud Uchiha members often clashed with others, and complaints piled up like snowflakes in winter.
But that wasn't the worst of it. The most critical issue was Uchiha Shisui, the clan's current strongest member. He was already being manipulated by Konoha's leadership, and his eyes had likely fallen into Danzo's hands.
And yet, without considering the clan's future, he naively chose to end his own life just to quell the turmoil. He had squandered a golden opportunity for the Uchiha's resurgence.
His passive response shifted all the pressure onto Itachi's shoulders, forcing Itachi's thinking to become extreme. In two years, he would raise his blade against his own kin.
In Kawasaki's eyes, Fugaku had been a deeply disappointing clan head. He was always swayed by the emotions of his clansmen and had never made any truly brilliant decisions.
After all, under the Second Hokage Tobirama's machinations, the Uchiha, as the village's enforcers, had long ago sown deep resentment with the other ninja clans. Their hopes of vying for the position of Hokage were non-existent; they would never win a vote of confidence. The time and energy they invested in the power struggle were all for naught.
After the Nine-Tails' Rampage, Konoha's suspicion of the Uchiha had intensified. Surveillance and suppression were commonplace. Yet, the proud Uchiha would never bow their heads. Loyal clansmen were sent running ragged trying to manage the fallout.
The conflict between the Uchiha and Konoha was now like fire and water, and many things were already beyond Fugaku's control.
Based on the timeline, Shisui was currently in mortal danger from a Root assassination attempt. If he couldn't save Shisui, his own life would be in peril. After all, besides the Hokage's faction, Obito also didn't want any Uchiha to remain alive.
When that time came, his only option would be to flee Konoha.

Kawasaki stepped into the clan shrine. The room was already filled with noisy debate.
The Fourth Elder spoke to Fugaku, who sat with his eyes closed.
"Clan Head, the number of complaints received by the Military Police Force is increasing by the day. The major ninja clans are all expressing their dissatisfaction with us. If this continues, the relationship between the Uchiha and Konoha will only worsen."
The Fourth Elder was a typical moderate, and handling the police force's complaints was his responsibility, giving him the most authority on the matter.
Fugaku kept his eyes closed, remaining silent. But the Third Elder beside him interjected, "Worsen? So what? Since the Nine-Tails' Rampage, we've been ostracized and watched at every turn. Spies monitor the Uchiha everywhere. In recent years, it's only gotten worse. Wasn't that tall tower outside the compound built specifically to watch us? Clan Head, it's time to make a decision!"
The Fourth Elder snapped, "Uchiha Takuya! What nonsense are you spouting?! Are you trying to incite a coup?!"
The Third Elder sneered back. "A coup? Konoha was founded by both the Uchiha and the Senju. To this day, we don't have a single Uchiha on the Elder Council, let alone a Hokage. What say do we have in anything besides the Police Force?!"
His words sparked a wave of discussion among the clansmen, with most agreeing with him.
"He's right! We need a voice, we need power!"
"Lord Clan Head! Please give the order!"
The Fourth Elder paced anxiously. His greatest ally, Uchiha Shisui, was usually present to support him, but he was absent today.
Fugaku's thoughts remained unreadable as he held his silence.
Suddenly, his eyes shot open. Everyone followed his gaze and realized that Uchiha Kawasaki had arrived at the shrine.
Making the best of a bad situation, he steeled himself and walked toward Fugaku.
Fugaku spoke. "Kawasaki, you're an acting elder now. You also have the right to speak. I want to hear your opinion."
"My opinion?!" Kawasaki was at a loss for words for a moment. "What opinion is there to give?! Shisui is facing a life-and-death crisis, and you're all here holding this pointless meeting!" he exclaimed anxiously.
Damn it, they're dragging their feet when his life is on the line.
Fugaku's pupils constricted.
"Kawasaki, are you telling the truth?"
Kawasaki waved his hand dismissively. "There's no time to explain! Qi, Koto, Yuta, take your squads and come with me! Izumi! You come too! We might need your medical skills."
Shisui had a gentle personality and many friends within the clan. The people Kawasaki named were all on good terms with him.
The few he called shot to their feet and rushed out after Kawasaki!
Fugaku remained seated at the head of the room, his expression grave.
The Third and Fourth Elders ceased their bickering.
Though the Fourth Elder leaned toward a more conservative path, no one would stand idly by in a matter of life and death.
Fugaku was silent for a long moment before letting out a slow breath.
"Uchiha Takuya!" he suddenly barked!
"Here!" The Third Elder started, hearing his name. His seniority was greater than Fugaku's, and people usually addressed him respectfully as Third Elder. For Fugaku to use his full name meant he was now acting in his full capacity as the clan head!
"You are to assemble all Uchiha warriors immediately. Prepare for battle!"
The Third Elder's face hardened. It seemed he could already smell the scent of gunpowder.

A spray of water erupted as the cold river shocked the heavily injured Uchiha Shisui into a moment of consciousness.
But his wounds were too severe. As despair washed over him, his thoughts remained with his clan.
Would his death change anything? Could Itachi bear this heavy burden...
Shisui's world faded to black as his body slowly sank into the turbulent Naka River...
"We found him! Elder! Shisui is here!"
A shout came from nearby, and two Uchiha leaped into the water, pulling the unconscious Shisui from the river.
"Elder! Shisui's eye has been gouged out!"
Kawasaki had already expected this. "Izumi, treat his injuries and check on him immediately. We must save his life."
Uchiha Izumi immediately moved forward to heal Shisui. Because of her friendship with Itachi, she was also close to Shisui.
Seeing him covered in wounds was a profound shock. Shisui was one of the clan's top masters. How could he have been so grievously injured, his Sharingan stolen, right here in Konoha!
There hadn't been enough time to gather more medical-nin, but Kawasaki remembered that Uchiha Izumi was skilled in medical ninjutsu.
Under her emergency treatment, Shisui's vital signs finally stabilized.
