[Korriban, 3644 BBY - ~3600 years before Episode I]
Far from the Sith Academy, away from the senses of any darksider on the planet, lay a naked man. This man, to an outside observer, would appear to be in some sort of deep sleep or meditation, but the truth was far different.
His body and soul were in the midst of synchronizing and establishing connections.
These connections were impossible to notice through technology, but through the Force, one could feel fragile thin strands of soul essence seep into the flesh and bone of the physical body. The strangest part is that the midi-chlorians embedded within each cell reacted strangely to the process.
They seemed to be reluctantly welcoming to these strands. Each cell seemed to contain roughly 20,000 midi-chlorians, but that was before the cells became infused with soul essence. After a cell became infused with a small piece of soul essence, the midi-chlorians would grow at a fast rate, shooting up to over 26,000 per cell.
As for why? Well, this is because the man (or more accurately the soul) is our protagonist.
Before arriving in this universe, he was given another chance to live by the Primal Powers. This is because, in his previous life, he died due to terminal cancer and held just enough positive karmic energy to trigger a reincarnation into a favored universe. This did not take much deliberation on his part as, after looking at an extensive list of favored universes, he chose to live in the Star Wars galaxy as a Force User.
He mentioned to the System Interface that he read a semi-popular fanfiction called "A New Player in the Force" by USSExplorer and felt like this is a similar situation except for the fact he knows that The Powers The Be aren't the ones sending him into the galaxy. As for his desire to be a Force User, it wasn't anything too special.
Aside from the fact that the Jedi, during the events of the Clone Wars, were arrogant and stagnant, he knew that he would need to have enough power to survive both the Clone Wars and the eventual rise of the Galactic Empire. While he understood that there were people who lived with minimal Force sensitivity and wielded blasters, he did not want to rely on laser guns that could overheat and potentially doom him to being killed by Imperial stormtroopers or droid blasters. What he wanted was something far different.
Something that could only be achieved by Force Users.
With his choices set in stone, the process of reincarnation began. He knew he was being sent into the universe of Star Wars, but what was left out of his hands was when and where in the timeline he'd be arriving.
Thus, where and when he arrived would be quite surprising to him.
As the body and soul synchronization was nearing completion, our protagonist's physical body was slowly stirring. His soul, while being synchronized to his physical body, could feel the pull of the Cosmic Force on it as if recognizing someone who had died. In his current state, he could tell that this strange pull was akin to a long hook attempting to slowly pull him away into a distant place and merge with a greater gestalt consciousness, but the hook was not finding any purchase. This was due to the absolute protection of the System that sent him here.
When his soul could no longer feel the pull of the Cosmic Force in its futile attempt to merge with him, that was also when the more finer details of his physical form were cemented into place.
First came his body build. Muscular definition rapidly developed and sinew strengthened to allow more flexibility while retaining muscle strength. The density cohesion of the flesh became slightly heavier and more compact which enabled powerful strength and weight to the entire frame. This, ultimately, gave him a strong athletic build yet not a bodybuilder type.
What came next was height. Due to the dense muscle fibers and strengthened bones, his height became taller than most humans. Instead of being roughly 5' 11" like most humans tend to average around, he became roughly 6' 3" tall with proportions to match.
After height stabilized at its current values, next came genetic stabilization. Unlike his previous life where he was human and everyone around him was human too, this time his genetics were matched to his environment. As he was on the red sandy world of Korriban, this allowed him to become a Sith Pureblood.
While most members of this species are very sensitive to the Force and others are not, this species is strongly affiliated with the Dark Side. Their cruelty is unmatched by any other Force-capable species out in the galaxy and are long considered royalty among the Sith Order and Empire. Another point of interest for this species is their ability to live longer lives than most humans.
The only problem with this species is that it is too synonymous with anger and the Dark Side. He'd be unable to learn the ways of the Jedi if he looked like a Sith Pureblood, but that wasn't much of a concern as he was already deep in Imperial space.
As his body took on the dark red skin tones and bone spurs of the Sith Purebloods, there was one other place on his body that began to stabilize too. His genitals stabilized as a sizable and proportional manhood grew to full maturity. This was obviously because he would be male in this strange new second life of his, yet there was more to things than met the eye.
As his manhood fully matured and his bone spurs finished, this completed his genetic stabilization. Aside from the fact his hair being similar in style to an ancient Asian cultivator and the coloration of a Starless Void, this finally meant his physical body was ready to house his soul. Without hesitation, our protagonist's soul melted into his new body and no longer felt the pull of the Cosmic Force.
With his first breath in his new body, he felt it. Powerful connections to everywhere and faint traces of a weight that seemed to not yet notice him. His mind, already far more powerful than his previous life, understood immediately what was happening.
He had been reborn and where he was felt familiar to him. As he opened his eyes and sat up, that was when he noticed strange rock formations and red sand everywhere. This image immediately set off red flags in his mind as he mentally searched his memories for where he could be, but when he looked down at his very naked self and seeing his own naked lower half for the first time, that helped him understand where and what he was.
A deeply profound sense of dread washed over him as the realization struck him. In the faintest whisper, his own voice echoed. To his own ears, it was deep and seductive, yet faintly carried an Imperialistic accent that seemed to have subtle tones of Sith authority.
"So, I'm on Korriban?" He whispered.
The only answer he got was his vision distorting and a translucent azure blue screen filling the center of his vision.
