It was something that she was thinking about, though not fully. Anyway, she will listen to what he says. After all, being with her man right now mattered a bit more than being with a friend, though it was something that she wasn't going to say.
"Okay, just talk to him but don't pressure him," Marjorie advised and Amabel smiled at him.
"I know how to work my way with him. Just trust your dear friend," Amabel reassuringly patted her ample chest, making it tremble for a moment.
Marjorie nearly rolled her eyes at that, but held herself back. "Fine, I trust you. Talkin about your man, did you talk to him about the matter I told you about?"
"You mean … the matter about his family and marriage?" with a bit of hesitation at the start, Amabel still asked in confirmation, her gaze focusing on Marjorie.
"Yep, that one!"
She shook her head hurriedly and let out a chuckle as she responded, "I was this close to asking him about it but then I stopped myself."
