Lillie was not born cold
As a child in Argentina
She was gentle and full of warmth
She believed in kindness and fairness
Her world revolved around her parents and her older brother jack who was five years older than her
They were not that very Rich---but that was enough
But life changed slowly before it shattered completely
Financial problems crept in bankruptcy took away comfort and peace
One evening while her parents were in car her dad was driving ,fate struck without warning
A car accident ended their lives
Lillie was 10 years old
Jack was 15 years old
Their childhood ended that night
Relatives took them in but not with love

Her all relatives wore kind faces for the world,yet carried jealousy in their heart
Her dad had only one brother

Circumstances forced his uncle to take them in and keep them with him even though it was against his will
"But how long can a person tolerate those they envy?"
A month later,he left those innocent children at an orphanage
After spending one year at orphanage
She learned that kindness invited pain
That one year hardened Lillie
After that one year a wealthy man BRAHM and her wife starlight adopted both of them
For world it look like a rescue ;but for Lillie it felt too late
brahm and twilight truly cared for the children but always busy
Lillie and jack were given everything they needed ----except time
"Who knows?Maybe if they had been given time , Lillie might have healed"
With money power came
She had become cruel ,but there was still a small part of kindness left inside her
That was because of jack
Jack tried to make her understand ---- the pain behind her anger and the fear hidden beneath her harsh behavior
And Lillie ... Not completely understand ,but she understood a little
The hardness she carried wasn't her true nature;it was just armor built from wounds,
So whenever jack spoke to her for a moment,her heart softened
Even if she returned to silence afterward
Jack is everything for her
After 1 year of adoption jack get the opportunity to go aboard for further studies
For jack it was a dream he had worked hard for
It was also the wish of his late parents
For Lillie it felt like the ground beneath her was slowly slipping away
And then the moment came
the moment she had always feared of
The time had arrived when her brother was leaving
Jack said you Don't have to be strong all the time
I'll come back
She nodded
Lillie didn't cry at the airport
She knew that if she did her new relatives would gather around her with those familiar words
"Poor child."
That sentence had always been poison to her
It reminded her of toxic relatives who used to say the same thing when her
Parents passed away
"Poor child.their parents were gone"
They said it with sad faces to show the world ,but never with helping hands
No support or protection
Only empty sympathy
So when jack left
She just kept looking at him with dry eyes,but the pain stayed locked inside her
