So when he had finally evolved his core to become a Diamond Ranker, he was met with surprising news.
The boss to whom he had pledged his loyalty had now joined some secret organization of unknown origins.
David didn't know what to feel about it.
At first, he assumed that Arthur was being forced into this organization, so he asked Arthur directly.
And the answer he received was surprising, but still expected.

Being Arthur's right hand, David knew almost everything he needed to know about his boss. So it wasn't surprising for him to know that Arthur had bent his knee to someone who could cure his daughter.
