Though D.X. had been able to easily succeed with their attacks all over the world, there was one branch of the Syma Alchemists' where the retaliation was the strongest.
The branch was in the territory of House Dracoth, one of the four ruling royal families of the vampires.
A descendant of the royal blood had visited the branch out of boredom, and that had led to him being trapped and his life endangered due to the attack on the branch.
As he wasn't a direct descendant, the level of attention placed on him by House Dracoth was relatively lower. Still... having even a drop of the blood of the Dracoths in him had made the royal family send some of their elite soldiers to retrieve the descendant.
Similar to House Frost, the authorities as well as the troops serving the Dracoths had advised the royal family against sending too many of their troops to help the victims.
