Fall Of The Wohans!

"Wah... Wahh... Waah Wah... Wah Wa Waa Waah...!"

A baby lay crying in her cradle.

Her mother picked her up and tried to calm her, but to no avail.

Her patience slowly snapped.

"NOW SHUT UP!"

The child froze, staring at her mother in fear.

Realising her mistake, the woman broke down.

"I am sorry... I am sorry... I just... I-sorry!"

Tears flew through her eyes.

"I know I am a bad mother. I can't give you water, nor can I give you warmth..."

"But don't worry. Lord Abbaz promised to protect us. He will surely come!"

She gave a hollow smile to her innocent child.

*However, it's been three hours, yet the Jagnis are nowhere to be seen.*

Even she couldn't believe her own words.

*No... He will come. He hasn't lost a single battle. He won't lose this one either. I need to have faith in him..."

She looked out the window in hope however, saw an endless abyss of suffering.

She spotted something.

She hid beside the cradle, tears streaming down her face.

She covered her child's mouth tightly and trembled in silence.

From the shadows of a burning house, a monstrosity emerged.

Shining red eyes. A monstrous body drenched in blood.

"Forgive me, my lord but, this wasn't a part of the agreement. We could have been a little lighter... I hope I didn't bother you, LordSoha."

"Well-well, I know that. But can't we enjoy at least this much?"

"These insects taste surprisingly good."

A large grin appeared on his face.

Soha licked the blood from his fingers.

"Anyways, was this it? Only this many insects? The Wohans?"

"Some of those mosquitoes might have hidden somewhere. We'll get them soon."

Soha scanned his surroundings.

He noticed some of his kin staring at the sky.

Following their gaze, he saw a barrage of arrows raining down.

With no time to react, he grabbed two of his allies and used them as shields.

Once the rain ended, he threw their bodies aside in disgust.

Soha peeked through a shattered window.

His expression shifted from shock to extreme rage.

"So... the Jagnis. I didn't expect them to be here.

At least, not now."

"Wohan's base is surrounded by hills. Easy to hide in the greenery on a night like this."

Despite the surprise, the mastermind didn't lose his composure.

He slowly drew his blade out.

"Captain Abbaz, they've taken cover behind the ruins. What's next?"

"See Amit, it's been five minutes, and no countermeasure yet. They're planning something else."

"A large portion of their militia should've been destroyed by the arrow rain. We should be able to handle the rest head-on."

After a brief pause—

"Alright then... March!"

Amit raised a signal flag.

"Permission granted, CaptainVikram."

"So what's next, Kaka? Let's charge."

Vikram inhaled deeply.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU HIDING, SOHA‽"

A malicious grin spread across Soha's face.

He burst out of the house and roared—

"HERE THE HELL I AM, VIKRAM! THIS IS THE HELL I'VE COOKED FOR YOU!"

They charged at each other.

Vikram from the mountain.

Soha from the valley.

Their swords clashed.

The Battle of Wohan began.

The Battle Begins!

"Arya... Arya-Arya... ARYA!"

"Wh... where am I..."

Arya regained consciousness.

"What's wrong with you Arya?" Ayaan asked.

"If you sleep mid-battle, we can't protect you."

"I know. I'm fine."

"Good. Now... Let's go!"

As Ayaan rushed forward, Arya grabbed his shirt, making him stumble.

"What was that for?"

"As I thought, you were sleeping when Captain Abbaz explained the plan, weren't you?

We are in the defender's unit. We are supposed to defend and not attack."

"Yeah-Yeah, I know that Arya, they think we are just kids..." Arya cut his sentence.

"Well we are!"

Arya chuckles.

Ayaan gets up and notices Arya lost in thoughts.

"What's the matter, Arya?"

"Nothing... It's just- uh... Well I just... Sigh! I feel- I feel sorry to hurt them."

"Really Arya! You feel sorry FOR THEM‽ FOR THOSE COLD-BLOODEDMURDERS‽

"It's not like that Ayaan. I know killing them is the most just thing I can do but... Not all of them came here for fun. Some of them came here for food for their families."

Ayaan realised that he hurt Arya by yelling at him and felt sorry.

"So you are still thinking of what he said to you."

Ayaan continued-"It's not the time for all this Arya... People are dying here. Now take out your blade and get ready. Enemies are approaching."

Arya nodded and took out his balde.

"Everything is going as planned, at least for now.

Five units:

Frontline, Archers, Rescuers, Medics, Defenders.

All are giving their best."

Captain Abbaz nodded.

"I'm going." -Captain Abbaz

"To look for Savita, right? We need you here, Captain."

"I know. But I made a promise... I'll be quick."

"Anyways, she recently became a mother."

His eyes grew wet.

"She named her daughter after my mother..."

"I have to go."

Across the valley, Goblins targeted the medics, tearing at the army's backbone.

"They won't hold much longer," Arya muttered.

"I'm going," Ayaan said.

"You never think things through, do you, Ayaan?"

"I'm not stupid, Arya. I'll get backup. The emergency flags are burned."

"If intel's right, there's a Maleficent among them. You can run into danger Ayaan."

"I won't gamble lives on chances. That's why I hate Maths."

Ayaan chuckled.

"Don't worry. Just keep cutting those green grapes. I'll be fine Arya."

Ayaan ran.

Arya hesitated.

*No... I should trust him. If Ayaan said he'll be, he would.*

Soha climbed an outpost.

"At this rate, my pets won't last long."

"I made a big mistake. Nevertheless..."

He wrote a message and tied it to a pigeon.

"To the Gothams, Quick."

Rescanning the battlefield, he noticed something.

A slow, malicious grin appeared.

"Interesting..."

"Don't worry, Sakina. We'll be rescued soon."

Suddenly, the roof shattered.

A Goblin crashed inside.

More followed, breaking doors and walls.

The fallen Goblin stood and reached for the door, grinning.

Savita collapsed in fear.

The door burst open.

A headless Goblin stumbled inside and fell.

"I'm sorry, I'm late, Savita."

She looked up.

"C-Captain Abbaz..."

"Huff... Where is Ayaan... I'm exhausted..."

Arya alone had sliced a large number of Goblins.

He stood up, lost in thoughts.

Suddenly, a crushing weight of Ojas surged behind Arya.

He turned and slashed however, his sword was caught with bare hands and was snapped.

A kick sent Arya flying twenty to thirty metres.

"Well-well, isn't this a pleasant surprise."

"Tell me, Arya Jagni, son of Vikram Adityan Jagni..."

Red eyes gleamed.

"I am Lord Soha."

"And I wish you a very good night."
