It took a few moments for Drogo to formulate reaction.
He sat there, staring at her in complete disbelief, confusion settling across his face as if he was trying to understand where exactly things had shifted. Slowly, he rose from his seat, taking a cautious step forward.
"Karen… I'm just trying to help."
"I said, get out!"
Her voice cut through the room sharply, leaving no space for negotiation.
He paused, watching her, as if considering whether to give her a moment to calm down, to let whatever storm she was in pass before speaking again. "Karen—"
