Chapter 108 - Chapter 108 – Sisters United

After the "Wind God's Manifestation," the atmosphere around the Mondstadt Cathedral completely changed.

Albert—the once most troublesome fan—seemed to have accepted a sacred calling. He transformed overnight into the Honorary President and Chief Order Officer of the "Barbara Support Association."

He organized the fans, enforcing rules like:

No loud noise outside the church

No crowding Lady Barbara

No excessive requests

Even more surprising—he enforced them strictly.

Whenever someone caused trouble, Albert was the first to step in, earnestly relaying "Lord Barbatos's teachings" and defending Barbara's peace.

He even helped filter letters, sort gifts, and gently deflect overly enthusiastic requests.

Barbara, in turn, honored their agreement.

Once a week, she held a small fan meeting in a safe, organized location—signing autographs, chatting, singing.

The result?

Fans cherished these moments even more—and fully accepted Albert's authority.

Most importantly—

"Ahhhh…"

Yi Chen slept soundly in his new villa, only waking when warm sunlight slipped through the curtains.

Outside: silence. Birds chirping. Distant street noise.

No more early-morning fan chaos.

"This… is life."

Downstairs, the house was empty—except for a note with a doodled Paimon face:

"Out earning Mora! Back before dinner! —Lumine & Paimon"

"Such energy…"

Just as Yi Chen was deciding whether to check in at the Knights or freeload breakfast from Kaeya, a gentle knock sounded.

Opening the door—

Barbara stood there.

She wasn't wearing her church uniform, but a light blue dress. Her twin tails rested softly on her shoulders, cheeks lightly flushed.

"G-Good morning, Mr. Yi Chen."

"Barbara?"

He stepped aside.

"Come in—what brings you here so early? Did the fans—"

"No, no!"

She hurriedly waved her hands.

"They're very well-behaved now. Mr. Albert manages them wonderfully. That's all thanks to you."

She looked at him earnestly.

"I came to thank you… truly. If not for your idea, I'd still be troubled every morning…"

Yi Chen scratched his head.

"It was nothing. Seeing you at ease—and sleeping better myself—is a win-win."

Barbara smiled, then carefully took out a beautifully printed card.

"To express my gratitude…"

Her voice softened, cheeks reddening.

"Next weekend, I'll be holding a small appreciation concert at the cathedral."

"If you… if you're free… would you like to attend?"

Yi Chen accepted the ticket, smiling.

"Of course! I've been looking forward to it."

Barbara beamed—radiant and genuine.

"I'll prepare well!"

She left like a happy lark.

Yi Chen watched her go, tapping the ticket lightly.

"A concert, huh… sounds fun."
