Three young teens were chilling on top of an abandoned warehouse. One was a young teenage girl, and the other two were boys.
They were laying down on the roof, staring at the night sky, they were stargazing, staring and at the stars and making up constellations. Tonight was a special night for them, because tonight was a full moon, it was a blue moon. And because of that, the environment around them was quieter than usual, the cold air was caressing their skin, the moonlight shines brighter than ever and, the poisonous air of the out skirts filling there lungs.
In another words there are just a bunch of miserable wenches stuck in this miserable world full of pain and bizarre unknown creatures that lurks in the dark threatening to consume them.
"Hey Vass are you scared of you're first nightmare"
The boy looked at the teen named Vass,
He has a relatively good body for being an outskirts rat, he was tall 5,8 to be precise,
He has black eyes and raven colored hair,
and he has a horizontal scar on forehead that he got in a fight against an opponent that has a knife or an improvised one. He isn't relatively good looking but just above average at best.
"I am scared"
Vass turning his head sideways to look at the boy.
"But that just how it is sometimes, there are some things that you cant control, even if you try you're hardest, so it's better to prepare for the inevitable... After all thats all we can really do... Maybe if you have plot armor you can change fate. But that's unrealistic"
Vass turned his head to the night sky once again resuming his stargazing.
The boy sat up from his position, then gazed at the teenage girl, she was a girl with the height of the average person living in the outskirts about 5,5. She has brown hair that stretches to his shoulder and she has bangs that were obscuring her eyes that were as yellow as the Golden sunrise of the morning sun.
"What about you Chara? Are you scared to?"
The young lady named Chara sat up, then looked at him, her dazzling eyes locking into his own, her eye were filled with a mix of emotions.
"I am... but so what. I mean aren't everyone scared of ther fist nightmare, What about you Toji.."
The teen named Toji,is abnormally tall for a boy of his age, especially people like him who are in the outskirts, Toji is 6,1 in height, his body is a bit muscular, but is still underdeveloped due to his environment, Toji has has a small scar on the right side of his lips, the boy has hair that's black as coal, and eyes that were as dark as the shadows of the abyss.
"I have to ask though. why change you're name to toji of all people"
Chara raised an eyebrow, looking at Toji with a thoughtful look.
"Well. It's because of this scar on the right side of my lips it reminds me of him.... And besides, Gabriel died the moment i step into this Accursed world"
Chare gazed into the night curiosity still lingering on her mind. She then tilted her head towards Vass, curious and why he changed his name from Adam to Vass.
"What about you Vass? Why change you're name"
Vass looking at her curiosity filled eyes. he sighed, and sat up straight and spoke.
"I liked the character Vass, his a memorable villain in a video game that i played once"
Chara raised her eyebrow curiosity satisfied.
"Is that so.. I never heard or seen that name before"
After a couple of hours of stargazing Chara suggested that they should go to sleep, she was the only one to feel sleepy though, so she left and used the lader to get down and go to sleep on her bed, well an improvised bed it was just a large inflated plastic filled with air with cloth on top, But nevertheless it's very comfortable.
"Hey aren't you going to sleep Vass?"
Turning his head to look at Vass, he was staring at the grayish sky with a thoughtful look on his face, then he turned his head looking at him.
"Later you go first, I will follow you in a couple of minutes"
Toji slowly stood up from his position, he then cracked his back twisting his torso left and right,
creating a satisfying sound of bones popping.
"Alright see you later bro, if I'm still up"
Walking past Vass, Toji carefully watched his step fearing he might fall, Toji carefully walked
towards the ladder before going down. At the ground Toji walked towards the entrance of the warehouse, looking around and observing his surroundings. The place was abandoned by life, there were no grass, trees nor even tiny bugs or insects.Well there is one tree but it's dead,
The warehouse was quite far from the hivemine cities of the outskirts, you have to walk for about 50 minutes to get to the nearest hive city.
Toji walking inside the warehouse began looking at there living environment.
To be honest, compared to the other out skirts people, i'm living in luxury. I got my own bed a nice and clean toilet, a clean environment and friends that I can call family. Toji then thought back to the time when he first arrived in this world. It's been a year and a half since i got sent into the world of shadow slave, at first i thought i was dreaming, i fooled around thinking i was lucid dreaming, but then i slowly realize i couldn't wake up, at first i ignored it thinking that i will wake up in the real world soon enough but, that possibility never came, time passed by days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, then a year passed. I didn't think i would make it this far in this world i got my own territory a gang that's slowly dwindling in numbers. But still i only got her thanks to luck, i was luck that i received such a amazing body when i transmigrated into this world.. i guess lady luck has favorite's after all.
Toji walking towards his bed exhausted from thinking of different ways of getting food and water for his companions. Hmmmmmmm
I can always do another heist or raid another gang or maybe i should start offering services to people, He sighed layed on his bed and then began gazing at the roof of the warehouse, the roof was full of holes, the light of the blue moon
Piercing through the holes of the roof, after sometime Toji began to count the many holes on the roof, each time he counted one he felt more relaxed more calm more... sleepy.

Toji woke up, saliva was drooling from his mouth he was greeted by the morning sunshine. He sat up and looked at his surroundings, he then noticed the two empty beds near him. I'm the last to wake up huh.. strange i always wake up first. Looking around to see where the two were or what they are doing, he saw the two outside of the warehouse cooking something, on a pot. The meal today is still not ready, Toji thought. might as well do my morning exercise of stretches to wake up my body. He then began to stretch, doing odd posses, twisting and bending his arms,legs and his whole entire body, from head to toes, After 30 minutes he then started walking towards the dou of teens.
"Hey what's on the menu?"
The Dou who were busy observing the pot, noticed Toji approaching the two of them,
Toji raising an eyebrow, looked at them in anticipation waiting for a response. Vass looked at him grinned then pointed at the pot with his thumb, inside the pot was boiling pinkish water with some meat?.
"Nothing special, it's just some real meat with some spices, like salt and pepper"
Vass grinn widened turning to a smile, a smile full of pride and mischief. He looked at Toji waiting for his surprise expression.
"What!. No way, That's real?!, how did you get that?"
Toji asked, eyes sparkling with joy and surprise.
He looked at the boiling pot of meat and spices. Or it is a pot of soup now? Well it doesn't have vegetables so does it count as a soup?.
"I stole it from a gangs supplies!, it was so easy to by pass there guards~, i almost feel pity for them. it's as easy as taking a dump, just squat and drop!"
Vass smiled grew wider as he pridefully barks his accomplishments and exploits at Toji. Chara's ears twitched up listening to Vass blabbering on about his achievements.
"Hey Vass who did you stole it from?"
Chara asked while pulling out a spoon from his pocket and took a spoonful of soup, and began blowing of it.
"I got it from the HYENAS"
Toji's mouth contorted into a small frown, not because he was taking pitty on the HYENAS and was sad about it, no no it's far from it, he was worried, about the consequences of Vass's action, because he just imposed a death sentence on himself, Because The gang know as the HYENAS, isn't really famed to be such a benevolent and kind gang, they were mercedes hunters, that feed on the weak and hunt the strong.
"Do you really want to die that badly?"
Chara pointed her spoon at Vass, looking at him with the worried expression.
"What it's nothing to worry about.. relax guys chill out"
Vass raised both his hand in mock surrender, his face still smiling like an idiot, Toji looked at Vass with a weirded out look, a look that you would give to those who are weird. like bro the fuck you smiling for you're going to die!, Toji thought.
"Fuck you mean relax you damed monkey!, do you know what they do to there opposition!!!!"
Toji raising his hand to his neck, did an overly hyperbolic cutting motion with his hands.
"They cut you're head of man!, you're batshit insane to mess with that group of people bro.
Bro do you know what I saw them do to there enemies, i saw them once butcher a group of people with axes and machettis in there hands!"
Chara worry plastered across his face, bellowed her voice full of anger.
"Vass to you really want to die that badly!?"
Vass facing they're angry comments on his achievements, turned his head away from them cheeks puffing in righteous indignation of there snarky comments.
"Hmph, I'm never going to play with you guys anymore, we are no longer friends"
Toji and Chara looked at each other face blank and shocked to seeing a grown ahh man pouting like an anime girl.
Chara looking at Toji her sun-like eyes staring at him blankly, then she raised her hand to the side of her head, twirling her finger in a circular motion symbolizing that Vas has truly lost it. Toji looking at chara his void-like eyes devoid of life, he bobbing his head like a chicken peking at seeds silently agreeing with Chara...
But then all three of them smelt a aroma, that they have never got the privileged of smelling,
It was the unique smell of meat, being burned to charcoal, all head and eyes locked in on the burning pot, they quickly realize what was happening, panicked the Swiftly began putting the fire out before the meat that, the idiot bet his own life on can get burned.
Vass panicking, decided that the best course of action was to take in this predicament, was to grab the pot bare handed and place it, on the ground, of course he succeed in doing so, but it came with a price, the idiots hand got burned by the scorching hot metal, blisters Swiftly began forming on the palm of his hands, meanwhile, the other two already put the fire to Ashe's, by smothering it with a wet cloth that Chara took from her pile of clothing, dunked it in water then used it to smother the flames to sleep.
Toji look that them, his eyes were watching Vass scream his heart out in pain, looking at his blister covered palms, while Chara stood there like a monolith face threatening to let out chuckle. Toji witnessing such a spectacle decide to turn around and head to the warehouse to grab some plates well three plate because that's all they really have.
"So.... Bon appetito? I guess"
Toji ignoring the two teens, began cutting the meat with a fork and a spoon, it was a tough battle but Toji manage to cut the meat in three parts for three people to eat, he then put the meats to different and separate plates, and offered it to the Duo, who was busy screaming at each other for who's fault is it that the meat, almost got turned to ashes.
"What do you mean it's my fault. Nuh uh it's you're fault, you're the one who's cooking it"
Vass pointed his finger at chara, who was greatly annoiby Vass's shenanigans.
"Bro! Fuck you mean. Nuh uh, we were cooking it together what do you mean it's my fault it's yours for not paying attention!"
Chara was looking at Vass, her dazzling eyes were shooting daggers at him. Then she raised her hand and slapped Vass in the cheeks. Vass shocked by her action, stood still for a moment stunned, then his arm shot upwards towards Charas hair... Or is it downward because you know Chara's short.
But then Toji interrupted their antics before it can escalate into a fist fight, with him offering there share of the meat.
"Dam bro you can cook, both of you can cook, this is a master class meal"
Toji munching on his food said between bite's,
Then give the Duo of chefs a thumbs up.
The Duo of chefs, smiled with pride seeing there hard-work paying off, Chara and Vass stared at there work for a moment then gave each other a perfect dap, its sound resonated With the surrounding its echo vibrating through there body and mind satisfying there rotting brains with it's calming echo.
'weren't you two tearing each other apart moments ago?'
Toji thought while looking at the two, munching on his food, but after a minute or two passed, he was done eating. placing his plate down, he walked towards his bed to get some rest.
