'Nice place this guy's got.'
Alex thought as he then looked down at the floor and thought, 'But to be honest I really don't know if I can call this floor or a darkness that just decided to let me stand on it.'
Alex's attention seemed to be focused on his surroundings rather than the being that sat before him.
But one could not simply blame the young lad. For the place he stood in was a marvel of its own.
This place seemed to be made of a dim light that now sparkled and surrounded the two in what once was a hollow darkness from which no being could simply fathom.
To be frank where he stood felt like a singular dimension that was controlled by this astral creature or whatever it was.
And speaking of where he stood.
Was a long and wide hall.
With floors that glimmered an obsidian night hue and around 8 to 10 pillars that seemed to be made of a refined quartz that were softly waxed of glittering streaks of gold.
There was no roof and yet Alex felt a shadow loom over him.
And that's when it hit as he looked in front him and gazed upon the creature that seemed to be...
"Omek."
Alex called out as if expecting some kind of answer from the same being that has only been spewing mysteries from its mouth since he had arrived.
The being surprisingly kept its focus on Alex, but was it really a surprise that it did so?
Alex had just gone through abnormal numerous events. And with the way he is now and was then... who wouldn't be interested in him or his wellbeing?
For a long while once more, Alex and this being stare at each other without blinking even once.
Whereas Alex from this being's point of view was a mere ant that managed to crawl into his domain by chance, Alex looked at this being as an equal.
The being had noticed this the moment Alex gazed upon him. For if he were to be astonished, he would gaze upon with a hint of wonder, for if he were gaze upon him with fear, he would be trembling and his eyes would blink and dart from left to right in panic.
But right now.
This boy gazed upon him like he was looking at a mere stranger from whom he expected an answer from.
But for what?
An apology?
Or maybe a stare down of recognition?
Or maybe a response to greeting?
Or maybe...
"Yes, boy. I am Omek."
Alex's eyes opened in slight shock as he looked up at Omek.
Was he sacred? Or was happy? Or maybe he was astonished?
No, he was in fact suspicious of Omek.
Because why now of all the time he had since to answer Alex would he do it now?
Could it be a sense of injustice? No, a being like this... one that possessed a domain such as this wouldn't take its leisurely time to answer someone like Alex that looked like a mere insect in its eyes.
But this being also bore no sense of hatred or oppression towards Alex.
And surprisingly Alex could feel all of this. How? He questioned himself. Could it be because of this Cronix guy he had been hearing about towards the end of all this?
And if so... then, what did he do with Alex that made him so special in the first place?
Maybe....
"Huh?"
Alex's eyes shot open in shock as his back rapidly began to swell and tear through his shirt as a multi-colored blob form on it.
"AHHHHHHHH!"
Alex screamed so loudly so that his voice went hoarse the moment he did.
"Ah CAHA! CAHA!" Alex coughed and vomited blood from his mouth as they were the only other two sounds that could escape from his lips.
His body thinned, his voice died, his eyes sunk, his back continued to swell as he fell to his knees as he crossed his arms before him and crouched his fingers, but not enough to fully clench his hands into fists.
His eyes winced, his jaw clenched, his face contorted and his body began to violently sweat as if trying to expel all kinds of impurities from his body.
"Huffff, huffff, huffff." Alex huffed and puffed in pain as even his breathing was difficult as it seemed to look the swell on his back had drained most whatever lain in his body and used it vastly grow.
'Uh... dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit! Why me huh?!' Alex grunted in thought.
'I never even asked for any of this to happen. Dammit the pain is so unreal it feels like it's just more than my bodily essence being drained.'
He added as he then slowly opened dark and sunken eyelids as he looked up at Omek and wondered, 'You..... you did this?', he wondered briefly as he then continued, 'No, it doesn't-'
"HUUUUFFF!"
'Feel like that at all.'
Alex thought as his gaze slowly and painfully met Omek's.
Omek sat on his throne and looked at the boy with a heavy displeasure in his eyes and aura and somehow...
'Yah, m-my bad.'
"HUUUUFF!"
Alex could sense it as well.
And because of this Alex asked himself, 'Well then, what's going on huh?'
'Some kind of disease that I contracted here? Or could it be worse?'
"HUUUUUUFF!"
'Dammit let me think.' Alex cursed as he then gazed upon the rest of Omek and realized something that he should've long ago.
'Wait... Omek. From the moment he arrived, really weird stuff has been going on, and they were all influenced by him.'
'That means that if he didn't cause this... then he must know the cause since this is something like his domain, right?'
"HUUUFF!"
He huffed once more as he then trembled and dropped his hands to the floor for support with his head help up high and his gazed fixed on Omek as if he were using every bit of strength left to see the final minutes of a TV show.
He then looked straight into Omek's eyes a hint of desperation.
Omek didn't respond however he looked back at Alex with a somewhat expectant attitude in his gaze.
"HU-U-U-U-U!" He exhaled weakly like a car nearly running out of gas.
His arms too trembled and and his trembled as well.
He slowly felt himself begin to fall as his energy wavered to nearly nothing and the sweat from his body loosened his grip on the floor.
And just when he fell...
POUT!
'No, dammit!'
He stopped his head from hitting the floor and the rest of his abdomen as well.
His face still sweating was just an inch away from the ground as well his legs and abdomen, but....
"Ha..." Alex weakly exhaled as he pushed painfully and slowly himself up. His body still trembled violently as we now see that he was almost completely dry.
His skin was laced, his bones mostly visible, his pants looked to be baggy on him and his face was but a pale imitation of his once smooth nutshell skin.
"Ha....!" He wheezed heavily as he wobbled up on his feet.
Drip!
Drip!
"Ha...!"
Drip!
Alex stood... more like wobbled while holding his ground against all the excruciating pain his going through and looked at Omek.
Not with fury, nor determination, but with a clarity of some sort that even confused Omek for a split second.
After a little while, Alex's eyelids began flutter a custom to his already waning strength.
With every flutter his eyeballs rolled up in attempt to rest from all the suffering that he was enduring.
His every breath softened as time passed. His every slight toggle to nearly falling became clumsier as he lost greater conscious of himself.
Every second, every breath, every drop of sweat and every piece of strength that waned as time passed soon flickered out.
And once that did, his eyes closed, his breath ceased, his struggle ended and he toppled over.
But just as he was about to hit the floor...
"Hmph." Omek scoffed as his eyes closed and his left hand began to move.
Omek moved his left hand and put it right before him. He then folded his fingers and pointed the index one out.
He then lifted his index as if to move something and then gentle moved it down. And as he did so, Alex materialized from thin air.
But right now, he kin to nothing more than a mere corpse.
Omek looked upon his body and then at his back. His eyes were filled with calmness unlike no other.
He then moved his lips and opened his mouth to say, "Attempting to escape so early?"
He then smirked as he added on, "Then do so."
A long moment passed by as Omek's once patient face turned to a disappointed one.
"I'm amazed that you cared."
He said as he the used his fingertip was about two 20 feet long and 15 feet wide. The ash grey surface of his skin arrived just an inch before Alex's body as he said, "Cronix... the Will bearer. Your journey was exquisite one to watch on my end, but..."
Omek said as the ghostly white energy that hang in the void began to wiggle and wavered as streaks and fissures of green, blue, orange, red, grey, purple and numerous others began to intertwine with it.
Omek didn't pay attention to these occurrences as he then tapped Alex's body and blue aura enveloped and spread throughout his whole-body.
The blood that had grown on his back had smoothly separated from his back.
He body expanded back to its normal size; he bodily fluids and nutrients were restored. And so was his conscious.
The blob then transformed into a transparent web like sphere with a smooth smudgy surface that illuminated a mixture of cyan, blue, yellow, and purplish colors.
He then moved his right palm and opened his fingers as the sphere then transported there.
DOOOOO!
A burst erupted in the void as a giant golden yellow fissure of like cracked through the ghostly white energy.
Omek still paid no attention to it as he then moved his right palm to the right and sphere vanished into thin air.
As soon as the sphere vanished, the fissures grew even larger and brighter.
Omek smirked at the occurrences above him. He then gazed upon Alex who was awake and looking at him.
His gaze held a deep found gratitude and anxiety that he couldn't express in any suitable way right now, but....
Omek could see it still.
He the smirked once more as he the shifted his left palm and put Alex on it.
Alex stood on it but felt no complex feelings or thoughts towards it. He then looked at Omek with a hint of expectation and Omek responded by closing his eyes shut.
He then lifted his right hand and moved his right palm over his left and suddenly...
Dooo!
"Huuuuuuh!" Alex deeply gasped as he the floated into the air and his eyes transformed into mix of white, grey and dark misty hues.
A blue aura that shortly transformed into mix of the same colors emitted from his body.
"Irony befalls us all as does a dream."
"But when one subsides to that irony, they gain a sense of wisdom like noother."
Omek stated as white, grey and dark misty hue emitted gathered and shone dimly but with a great strength in his chest.
"A wisdom so unfathomable that it even universe would look like a singular page in front of it."
"That wisdom is whole, that wisdom is rare and that wisdom is forbidden."
"And so..."
"You shall be known as Autax to your vulnerability. You will know your vulnerability as...."
"The All Knowing Fog."
He said as the fissures nearly finished expanding.
"And as such I, Omek Tesereck. Hereby, conclude the rite of naming as I dub thee's name of rite..."
BOOOOM!
SHHHHHRRRR!
"OOOOOMMMEEEKKK!"
"The Bro-"
