The rogue King's son stayed hidden because the previous Duke of Fear did not want the seven-year-old child to raise pity amongst the other Disciples.
Baffling. I couldn't believe that had genuinely been his only reason. And not the fact he felt helpless about killing the rogue King, only for his furious wolf to reincarnate into his son.
But the son was only a child.
The Phantom inhabited his body—the same wolf that belonged to his father. There was no given knowledge on why it happened.
Just like the Blood-Hound that always reincarnated in a daughter of the same family for generations. Until recently.
The Phantom and the Blood-Hound had to be linked in some way. The ancestry was similar.
If the Blood-Hound could be accepted as a support for the kingdom, then so could the Phantom.
It just had to do with raising the child the right way.
Not ending his life.
