As Bahamut headed back to his residence, he met Sel on the way. It seemed that he had been watching the clash from afar. The subtle smile on his face said it all.
"Tch! You could have joined, you know?" Bahamut said in a low tone.
"You are the rank 1. I can't steal your shine," Sel responded with a chuckle, making Bahamut narrow his eyes in annoyance.
"You are the acclaimed strongest new disciple. What do you want to hide?" Bahamut shot back with a smirk, making Sel stop in his tracks.
"Nothing of your concern," Sel responded coldly.
"..."
"Let's get going before we get into more trouble than we already are," Sel added and walked off. Bahamut followed after, chuckling.
Everyone had something to hide. He shouldn't have pried. It was his mistake in the end.
