Was none other than Captain Marvel herself!
Nick Fury had ultimately made his decision.
He summoned this woman.
Because the only danger that could force him to such a choice—
Was clearly Renjie.
She had come to claim a life.
"Heh?"
"I didn't expect to find someone else who gained the same power as me."
"Kid… what's your name?"
Captain Marvel hovered high in the sky, looking down at the group below.
Her reason for coming to Earth was simple—
Nick Fury was in danger.
Yet along the way, she sensed another source of identical energy.
And so—
She changed her route at the last second.
She decided to meet this "companion" first, before dealing with Fury.
She could still sense Fury's presence.
He had only been detained—his life was not in immediate danger.
"Renjie…"
"I didn't expect to see you on Earth, Carol Danvers."
Renjie activated the [Anti-Gravity Device], lifting off from the ground and rising into the air until he was face-to-face with Captain Marvel.
"You know my name?"
Captain Marvel pointed at herself in surprise.
Her existence should have been completely classified.
"Yes. Because I took over the [Tesseract] research project."
"And learned about you through the [Project Pegasus] incident."
Renjie tapped his alloy helmet, producing a crisp metallic sound.
At any moment, he could access S.H.I.E.L.D.'s internal network—
With his clearance level, intelligence was never out of reach.
"So that's how it is…"
"Looks like the reason Fury called me here…"
"Is you."
Captain Marvel narrowed her eyes.
Then—without warning—
She raised her hand and fired a burst of energy straight at him!
A sneak attack!
A fine virtue of a seasoned warrior.
But Renjie's armor instantly deployed a [Protective Field].
The energy blast was effortlessly blocked.
"So I'm the only one on this planet…"
"Who could make that black gorilla so mad he went looking for someone to beat me up."
Renjie smiled faintly as he spoke, ascending even higher into the sky.
"If our fight ends up hurting civilians, that wouldn't be ideal."
"How about we change battlefields?"
He pointed toward the distant horizon.
Renjie needed this fight—to truly grasp the power he had just obtained.
And there was no better opponent—
Than Captain Marvel herself.
"Sure."
"I've got a pretty good impression of you so far."
"I'll hold back a little."
Captain Marvel smiled, then followed Renjie as he streaked toward the heavens.
"You stay behind and protect the child. I'll go take a look."
Android 18 was just about to move.
But Renjie's command echoed directly inside both of their minds—
[No one is to interfere. This is my fight.]

Their flying speed far surpassed any fighter jet on Earth.
Bustling cities.
Endless plains.
All of it blurred into white streaks of light, flashing past their vision.
A few minutes later
They had already ascended several thousand meters into the sky.
The [Spatial Energy] accumulated within Renjie surged violently, rapidly gathering in his hands.
He spun around midair, clenched both fists—
And fired a brilliant blue energy wave at Captain Marvel!
This was the purest form of [Spatial Energy].
Using it as a direct attack was honestly a waste.
But there was no denying it—
This power was terrifying.
Captain Marvel revealed a battle-hungry smile and raised her hands as well.
Dazzling, seven-colored energy gathered around her fists.
Compressed into a single point—
Then released!
The two colossal forces collided!
The resulting shockwave shattered the sky for hundreds of kilometers!
How beautiful—
The azure heavens shattered like glass.
Reflections of their faces scattered like stardust, vanishing before their eyes.
Not only Renjie—
Even Captain Marvel herself was stunned by the sight.
But disaster followed immediately.
A massive spatial black hole formed, releasing a terrifying suction force!
Before either of them could react—
They were swallowed whole!
This was an unstable space wormhole.
They were about to be transported!
Captain Marvel was the first to react.
She unleashed the energy within her body
Forming a powerful energy barrier around herself to resist the pull.
But
Renjie was unfamiliar with this force.
After all, he had only gained control over it minutes ago!
"Kid! Grab onto me!"
Seeing Renjie in danger, Captain Marvel shouted anxiously.
She flew toward him at full speed and pulled the young Earthling tightly into her arms!
Under the irresistible gravitational pull—
The enormous [Spatial Black Hole] swallowed them both in an instant!
Only after consuming them—
Did the horrifying black hole begin to rapidly collapse.
Everything returned to normal.
As if nothing had ever happened.
