"Hey... I thought you were really pretty. I... didn't want to miss this opportunity, so... you wanna go out with me sometime?" A mosquito awkwardly proposed his romance to a fellow female mosquito beside a building.
"What!?" The female mosquito suddenly shouted in a buzzy mosquito language. "Why would I ever go out with an ugly freak like you! Get lost!" She retorted, harrumphing before turning and walking away.
The male mosquito's wings drooped, his mandible turning from erect to limp.
"Aww..." He turned in a slumped mood, "This day seriously can not get worse. I mean... I don't know what to try anymore. I've already asked out over five hundred just today!" He paused, "That doesn't sound right... maybe I'm the problem after all."
He continued hovering down the street when suddenly, a large shadow slowly began to roll over his head.
"Huh? Is it going to rain so suddenly? That would make this day even worse!" The mosquito buzzed, gazing up toward the sky.
