Leon was stunned by Dorian's words, frozen with confusion.
More than anything... he felt a mountain of gratitude.
'I was so stuck thinking about what that horrible man did to my parents, I forgot to acknowledge the fact that I am alive right now because of that man...' Leon thought to himself, staring at Dorian's back as he walked away.
'I must trust him. He saved my life... the least I could do is follow his words.' Unbeknownst to Leon, he was convinced to follow Dorian's words also because the man had filled the hole in his heart.
The hopelessness Leon felt from not knowing what path to choose to avenge his parents was the part that made him feel the most worthless.
Now, however, Dorian had filled that patch. Who knew if this was the right path... it was a path regardless.
'I will find my starry path, huh? I wonder what he meant by that... starry.' Leon shrugged this thought off as he turned and exited the scene as well.
