050 White Queen, Questions?
Umbrella Corporation, North American headquarters.
After explaining Dr. Isaacs's research on Alice, Marcus looked at Wesker and casually asked, "Wesker, do you crave Alice's power?"
Wesker hesitated for a moment before nodding.
"I remember you also have in-depth research on the T-virus, right?" Marcus asked again.
"Yes, Mr. Foster," Wesker replied without hesitation.
Marcus looked away from Wesker and tapped his headset, asking, "Kaplan, have you installed Red Queen?"
Kaplan's voice came back, "Wait a moment, Mr. Foster, just a little bit more."
"Speed it up," Marcus responded.
After Marcus's response, a pure white virtual figure appeared. She was very similar to Red Queen, but her pure white image resembled a little angel.
"Hello, Mr. Foster, I am the White Queen, an intelligent system from the North American headquarters," White Queen introduced herself.
Marcus nodded. "Hello, White Queen."
White Queen was an intelligent system dedicated to the North American headquarters. She controlled a large number of devices specifically for the "Alice Project," including psychic energy detectors and telekinetic detectors.
"Mr. Foster, would you like to activate Red Queen? If Red Queen is activated, should I go into hibernation?" White Queen inquired.
Compared to Red Queen, White Queen's emotional system was gentler; she even proactively helped Alice.
Marcus waved his hand. "No need."
Not only did he not need it, Marcus even wanted to take White Queen with him.
"System, how many life points do I need to obtain White Queen's highest authority?" Marcus asked.
The Transcendence System immediately responded, "Based on the current situation, if the host wants to obtain White Queen's highest authority, it will require 1,000 life points."
Marcus breathed a sigh of relief.
A mere 1,000 life points!
Marcus already had over 700 life points, and he had another trump card. If he used the T-virus, with its side effects removed by the Main God, to save Alicia, how many life points would he gain?
"Wesker," Marcus called out.
"What can I do for you, Mr. Foster?" Wesker asked immediately.
"I need your help testing the T-virus," Marcus explained.
Wesker tensed up inwardly. "Mr. Foster has been infected?"
Marcus glared at Wesker. "If I were infected, wouldn't I be able to get an immune booster?"
"Phew!" Wesker breathed a sigh of relief. Marcus was a big shot with Level 7 clearance at Umbrella Corporation. If Marcus was infected with the T-virus, wouldn't he be able to get an immune booster?
"White Queen, immediately arrange a laboratory. Also, forbid this information from being leaked to Dr. Isaacs," Marcus ordered.
The T-virus in Marcus's possession was flawed!
When the Main God removed the side effects of the T-virus, it also removed its growth potential, removing the most important awakened psychic power. This was unacceptable to Marcus.
Marcus wanted a perfect version of the T-virus!
Marcus wanted Dr. Isaacs and Alice to work together to research a perfect version of the T-virus, not the crippled version from the Main God.
"Okay, Mr. Foster, the lab is ready. Please come this way," White Queen reminded him, then led Marcus and Wesker to a laboratory.
"Number Two," Marcus called out.
All three versions of the T-virus from the Main God were inside Terminator T-1000.
After Marcus's call, Terminator T-1000 Number Two extracted one T-virus sample from its body.
Wesker stared in shock at Terminator T-1000's liquid metal body, hesitatingly asking, "Mr. Foster, this is..."
"A liquid metal robot. If we only consider combat power, no T-virus infected creature can match it," Marcus casually remarked.
Terminator T-1000 Number Two, following Marcus's explanation, raised its right hand, transforming it into a blade, and sliced off a corner of a steel test bench.
"Hiss!" Wesker was startled. "Our company has this kind of technology?"
"Of course, I'm in charge of this technology," Marcus replied. "Alright, Wesker, check the status of this T-virus. I need a comparison between it and the regular T-virus."
Wesker stared at the Terminator T-1000, muttering to himself, "Since the company has this technology, why develop the T-virus?"
"Hmph!" Marcus sneered. "Foolish!"
Wesker quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Mr. Foster, I..."
"Alright, quickly check the status of this T-virus," Marcus said.
The next moment, Red Queen's voice rang out, "Mr. Foster, I can check its status."
"Have you come back online?" Marcus asked a pointless question. How could Red Queen respond if she wasn't online?
"Yes, Mr. Foster, I've come back online and taken over the entire North American headquarters," Red Queen replied.
This indicated that Red Queen's authority was higher than White Queen's; otherwise, it would be impossible for her to bypass White Queen and control the entire North American headquarters.
"Wesker, put the T-virus into the testing equipment. Let Red Queen handle all the work," Marcus instructed.
Wesker was reluctant, but he knew Red Queen could indeed handle testing issues, and with greater efficiency and accuracy.
About five minutes later, Red Queen reported, "Mr. Foster, the T-virus you provided has decreased in activity to a certain extent. The viral molecular structure has changed by 0.03%, and the infectivity has dropped to less than one in ten thousand."
Wesker listened to Red Queen's analysis, frowning inwardly. The infectivity of the T-virus was crucial; it was the foundation for world destruction.
What was Marcus trying to do by creating a non-infectious version of the T-virus?
"Through simulation analysis, the new T-virus has further improved in stability, reducing the probability of mutation by 99.999%, and increasing the probability of retaining consciousness to 99.99%," Red Queen continued.
Wesker was stunned!
He had a deep understanding of the T-virus and naturally knew that its biggest problem was causing infected individuals to lose consciousness, retaining only their most primal desires.
"Mr. Foster, how did you obtain this T-virus?" Wesker couldn't help but ask.
Marcus ignored Wesker and patiently waited for Red Queen's feedback.
Nearly ten minutes later, Red Queen finally sent all the detection information to Marcus's tablet. Wesker was getting impatient, but he didn't dare ask Marcus for the data.
Marcus proactively handed the tablet to Wesker, saying, "Take a look first."
Wesker quickly reviewed the data, growing increasingly surprised. He knew what this test data meant: the T-virus side effects were almost completely eliminated.
As for the remaining probability of less than one in ten thousand, that was truly a one in ten thousand chance!
How unlucky would that be?
"Mr. Foster, may I test it myself again?" Wesker hesitated before asking.
"Are you suspecting Red Queen of cheating, or are you suspecting I authorized Red Queen to cheat?" Marcus questioned.
"No, no, I..." Wesker nervously replied, but was interrupted by Marcus.
"Alright, Red Queen, step out of control. White Queen, supervise Red Queen. Wesker, test the T-virus situation yourself," Marcus ordered.
He needed Wesker's cooperation for his next plan!
