CHAPTER 10. THE AWAKENING CEREMONY (1).

And so all teachers were busy indoctrinating and motivating their students as if that would help them awaken a powerful element.
Rai jin had woken up extra early that morning, even he was shocked, it was the first time he was feeling so nervous apart from one time, he tried to hit on Eun gi, which later ended as an absolute disappointment. The girl literally asked if he was ok, This gave Lin Kai, Chan min, and the degenerate Bai ji, a reason to tease him for weeks.
He got to school that day feeling nervous just like the hundreds of other students who would be undergoing the Magic awakening, He walked in slow steps as he made his way to his classroom, As he walked by, he could see the teachers organising their students and giving them numbers, with which they would be called up to undergo their awakening, and so he hurried his steps, looking at his own class up ahead.

"Thanks dad" rai jin thought back wiping a sweat that trickled down his forehead off his brows.

Rai jin entered the class to meet names already being called. He quickly scans the crowd of students to locate Mu lan and Da lu, He sees them standing at the far end of the class room, so he made his way towards them, passing through the crowd of students barring his way. On his entry, some students had made noticed of him, Including Da lu and Mu lan, Lin kai, and his followers Bai ji and Chan min had also seen hm. And as it would be, Rai jin had to pass by them before he could get to Da lu and Mu lan.
"Rai jin are you really sure you take your life seriously, look at you coming late on this special day?" Bai jin whispered as soon as Rai jin was near.
"He must have slept off knowing he didn't even have the talent to awaken magic, let alone be able to cast a spell, in the near future" Chan min replied mockingly.
"See Rai jin" ______Lin kai said placing a hand on Rai jin's shoulder_______ " I already got my number, obviously, I am no 3, the numbers are being given according to our grades in the past exams, I understand you coming late, because even if you were to arrive later than you had, you will still be the last to get a number" Lin kai said planting a smug look on his face as he insulted Rai jin.
Rai jin felt like punching his face in, but he had better things to do than argue with bastards this early morning, besides he thought he woke up early today, either his definition of being late was different from that of the school or he was hallucinating when he saw the time this morning.

His outburst seemed to have gained the attention of nearby students as they turned to see what was going on, which in turn led to gaining their homeroom's teacher attention.
"Who is that degenerate disturbing the class room on this special day" Mr Lu their homeroom teacher asked.
Here he was, anxious and eager hoping more students in his class would end up awakening good elements that would in turn lead to a raise for him, he only had high hopes for a number of students, whom he hoped would make him proud, and yet there was a degenerate disturbing his class this early morning, while he was trying his possible best to concentrate.
"It's Rai jin Sir, he is just coming" Bai ji quickly spoke up, while Lin kai gave Rai jin a triumphant glare.
"Rai jin?" This boy again, the boy who had the lowest grades In class, he had always cursed the day this boy enrolled in his class, almost all the teachers had at one point or the other complained about him.
"You 're just coming?" Mr Lu asked in disgust.
"Yes Sir" Rai jin replied, an annoyed look evident on his face, he was going to butcher Lin Kai and his idiotic followers one day, and the day was soon approaching, he couldn't even mind his own business on one day, some reprobabe dimwits, useless garbage, scoundrels had to find a way to always ruin it for him.
" I know you dont take your life seriously, you have no hope of ever awakening magic, but I can't just expel you on my own, but I promise you, if you should fail the magic awakening today, you would never get any chance to practice magic for the rest of your life. Now get out of my sight and find somewhere to stay quiet until your name is called, which is last by the way!" Mr Lu shouted angrily, his index finger dangled In front of Rai jin's face threateningly.
"I didn't know it was possible to be the worst of the worst"

Rai jin heard what the other students were saying as he passed by them, but he never cared and he definitely wouldn't start caring now, besides all of them would eat their words when he awakens a powerful element like the fire or ice later in the day, then he would see who would dare to speak bad against him.
As he passed by Eun gi, he stared at her, and he could swear the girl looked even more appealing today, he had had a crush on her since they were very little, they went to the same middle school and even then, she had been the ice queen that every boy was in love with, including Rai jin.
She never spoke much, and that further escalated her mysterious personality in front of every one, even though Lin kai tries to hide it, Rai jin knows he also secretly had some kind of crush on Eun gi, probably it was part of the reason he hated him so much.

Eun gi noticing the perverted look on his face couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking about this time around. *Uhhm, Rai jin, who is Eun gi?* Rai manyan"s voice sounded in his mind.

Rai jin sighed in relief as he approached Da lu and Mu lan.
"Yooo My man, sorry about that" Mu lan said as he grabbed Rai jin In a bear hug.
"I guess Mr Lu is anxious because of the magic awakening today" Da lu also said.
"Ohhh forget about him, guess what?" Rai jin asked, a mischievous grin appearing on his face.
"What?" Mu lan and Da lu chorused.
"Eun gi smiled at me, he he he" He replied grinning, a frightening smile planted on his face.
"Oh no you imagined it" Da lu said shaking his head.
"Really my….." Mu lan was saying, before his name was called.
" Mu Lan!" Mr Lu's Voice echoed.
"Here Sir"Mu lan replied.
"Come up, you are no 19"
"Chen bo, No 20"
"Here Mr Lu" a boy replied as he followed after Mu lan to get his number tag.
"What about you?" Rai jin asked Da lu.
"I got my no already" Da lu said as he raised a flambuoyant 1 in rai jin's face.
"Eun gi must be no 2 then, ohhh my woman is a genius" Rai jin said smiling as he looked over to Eun gi.
"Hello?, I am Number 1, what does that make me" Da lu said flailing his number tag in front Rai jin again.
"It makes you Da lu" Rai jin replied patting Da lu on the shoulder, his eyes still on Eun gi.
"Thanks, I guess" Da lu said, a confused look on his face, even though he didn't understand what he meant by that.

The calling of names went on for a while, until only two students was left in the classroom without a tag yet.
"Chong Lin, No 57"
"Yessir"
"And….Rai jin, No 58" Mr Lu said in a disgruntled tone, he was obviously not pleased
with this student of his.
"Here Mr Lu" Rai jin said as he made his way to the front of the class_______________.
