48: Chapter 48 Killing KriegSeeing Hawkeye walk away, Coby rushed over to help Luffy up and return to the dining room.Just as they passed Krieg, who had been keeping his eyes closed, Krieg suddenly lunged at Luffy.Before Coby could react, Krieg snatched Luffy away.Coby and the others were about to react when Krieg, still holding Luffy, pressed a knife to his neck and said, "If you move again, your captain will lose his head!" He then ordered Gin, "Gin, kill all the cooks on this ship!"
Upon hearing this, Akin trembled and shook his head, saying, "I'm sorry, Chief Klee, I can't do it." Klee immediately flew into a rage, shouting, "I'll say it again, kill all the cooks on this ship!"
Argin even released Sanji, his voice trembling as he said, "I'm sorry, Captain Krieg, I can't bring myself to harm my savior." Seeing this, Krieg coldly replied, "Fine, since you disobey my orders, from now on, you are no longer my crew." Argin couldn't believe his ears: "K.Krieg, what did you say?"
Krieg repeated, "I said, I don't need you anymore." At that moment, Luffy seized the opportunity to speak, "Krieg, you really are an ungrateful person!" Suddenly, Luffy's hand stretched out and grabbed Krieg's neck."What!" Before Krieg could react, Luffy flipped him over.Just as Luffy was about to finish him off, a pale-skinned man covered in shields blocked his path.But before he could even speak, he was blasted into the sea by Luffy's Gum-Gum Rocket.He didn't even get a chance to cry for help before sinking to the bottom of the ocean, filled with resentment.Ignoring Krieg, Luffy went to the distraught Gin and seized the opportunity to invite him, "Since that person no longer needs you, then come to my ship, become my crew member, and help me become the Pirate King." Gin looked up at Luffy's resolute face and hesitated before saying, "I'm sorry, Captain Krieg has shown me great kindness, and I cannot fail to repay his kindness."
Luffy interrupted him, continuing to persuade him, "But you've already repaid Krieg's kindness to you, why dwell on this?Come with me, I'll take you to the Grand Line to witness the world of the strong." After hesitating several times, Gin still refused Luffy's invitation.Krieg, seeing this, was furious, thinking Gin was going to betray him.But he seemed to have forgotten his earlier words about abandoning Gin: "Gin, you dare betray me?Have you forgotten what I did for you." But before he could finish, Luffy couldn't hold back any longer, instantly appearing in front of him, raising his head and coldly saying, "Does someone like you deserve someone like Gin?"
"What!" Just as Krieg was stunned, "Gum-Gum.Blazing Pistol!" Luffy's fist, crackling with flames, struck Krieg's golden armor with tremendous force.Even Krieg's prized golden armor shattered in less than a second, sending him flying backward.His internal organs were burned away by the accompanying flames, and he died a bitter death.Gin seemed to want to say something, but looking at Luffy's retreating figure, he couldn't bring himself to speak.Luffy came to his side and patted him on the shoulder: "Don't worry, I won't touch the rest.You take them all away." Gin looked at Luffy gratefully: "Thank you."
Soon after, Gin placed everyone on a small boat.Looking at Luffy, he said, "See you on the Grand Line," and then led them away from the restaurant.Luffy simply smiled and went back inside to recover from his injuries.
