52: Chapter 52 Straw Hat Crew vs. Arlong Pirates (Part 1)"How dare you hurt Boss Arlong!" Enraged, the fishmen grabbed their weapons and charged at Luffy.Luffy looked at them disdainfully."Gum-Gum Machine Gun!" Luffy swiftly swung his fists, knocking the poor minions to the ground before they could even get close.Zoro and the others also arrived at Luffy's side.Gin said, "Captain Luffy, leave these minions to us from now on."
Arlong jumped up, incredulously touching his crooked nose.He couldn't believe anyone dared to hit a noble fish-man, and glared at Luffy not far away, shouting angrily, "Kid, who are you to dare hit me?"
Luffy interrupted him, saying, "My name is Monkey D.Luffy, and I'm going to be the Pirate King!And no matter who you are, anyone who dares to bully my crew will die!" Arlong, enraged by Luffy's arrogant demeanor, roared, "Men, attack!Kill Straw Hat Luffy and his crew!"
The defeated fish-man got up again.Just then, an octopus-like fish-man emerged from the pond in the yard and said to Luffy and his crew in a silly tone, "We have guests!What are you all doing standing here?Hurry up and entertain them!" The other two officers of the Arlong Pirates looked helpless and said, "That's an enemy.Hachi, our boss Arlong got knocked away by that straw-hat bastard."
"What?" The goofy Hachi drew six swords from his waist and charged straight at Luffy.Zoro, standing nearby, also drew his sword to meet him."Six-Sword Style: Sheathed Sword!" Hachi wildly brandished his six swords, clashing with Zoro.Zoro parried Hachi's attacks with two swords, but Zoro also found an opening, deflecting Hachi's swords and striking at Hachi with a two-sword style attack: "Needle of the Ox." Hachi countered with a six-sword style attack: "Octopus Jar." Just as Zoro and Hachi were locked in a fierce battle, a fish-man with protruding lips suddenly spat out a water bullet, ambushing Luffy.Usopp quickly drew his slingshot, firing a bullet that shattered the water bullet."You damn fishman, don't bother the captain!Your opponent is me, Grandpa Usopp!" Usopp yelled, then defiantly patted the fishman's behind and ran off."Damn it, how dare you play tricks on your Grandpa Chuo!Stop right there!" Chuo angrily chased after Usopp.After chasing for a while, he saw Usopp standing on the road ahead, beckoning him with a finger.Chuo became even angrier, drawing water from a nearby pond.After drawing enough, he attacked Usopp, shouting, "Die under my water cannon!" "Chiu chuckled smugly, but then a shocking scene unfolded.The water cannon didn't hit Usopp; instead, it passed right through him, blasting a hole in the ground behind him.'What!' Chiu exclaimed, completely bewildered.He then heard a familiar voice from behind: 'Ultimate Kill.Illusion Star!' Chiu turned around and saw an incredibly familiar figure—it was Usopp!The fake Usopp from before had used bullets from Luffy's unlimited ammo pack.After so many days of experimentation, Usopp had finally figured out how to use it.'Hmph, it's just an illusion.I don't believe it this time.'" "It's just a fantasy!Watch my water machine gun!" Chuu spat out water droplets rapidly, attacking Usopp at lightning speed.Usopp panicked instantly, hurriedly chanting "Defend!" and frantically dodging the first wave of attacks.He pulled out his generated ammunition from his bag and, before the second wave arrived, fired it at the ground with his slingshot."Ultimate move.Defense Star.Ice Shield!" Usopp shouted.An ice shield quickly appeared in front of Usopp, blocking Chuu's attack.Usopp said triumphantly, "How about that, you damn fishman?You can't do anything now, can you?Haha."
However, Usopp's triumph was short-lived.The ice shield in front of him shattered, forcing him to retreat into the forest in a sorry state.He leaned against a tree to withstand the second wave of attacks.Seeing Usopp's disheveled state, Chu laughed triumphantly: "What happened to your arrogance?You've already cowered.Someone like you, the captain wants to become the Pirate King?Don't make me laugh." Usopp, trembling behind the tree, clutched his head.Hearing Chu's insult to Luffy's dream, and glancing at the weapon beside him, recalling the trusting look in Luffy's eyes when he gave him the Devil Fruit and the weapon, Usopp's initially fearful eyes hardened.He silently chanted "Restraint," pulled bullets from his backpack, twisted the element on his slingshot to fire, and rushed out of the forest.
"You bastard, you can insult me however you want, but I absolutely will not allow you to insult that guy's dream!" Usopp roared, "Fierce Attack: Binding Star, Flaming Chains!"
