After saying goodbye to Nami and Sanji, Luffy began searching for the Pirate King's execution rack.Just as he passed a small tavern, he seemed to sense something and went inside."Welcome, young man, what would you like to drink?" an old man said, emerging from the shadows.Luffy refused, saying, "I'm not here for a drink, I'm here to ask how to get to the Pirate King's execution rack." The old man didn't answer Luffy's question but instead invited him to sit down."Young man, are you interested in the Pirate King?"
"It's not just interest; my dream is to become the Pirate King!Next, my crew and I will enter the Grand Line and conquer it!" Luffy said confidently.The old man looked at the confident young man before him, as if he saw Roger's shadow in him.So he went to the counter and began to tell Luffy the story of his encounter with Roger in his youth.Luffy listened quietly to the old man's tale.From his story, Luffy seemed to feel Roger's boldness and ambition.When the old man's emotions reached a climax, he took out a bottle of wine, poured two glasses, and handed them to Luffy: "Young man, this is for you." He handed Daddy his binoculars.Daddy looked up in confusion at the direction of the wind bird, and immediately broke out in a cold sweat.Usopp hadn't missed; he'd shot right through the hole in the wind bird's head and hit the sign behind it."I lost!I actually lost!" Daddy said dejectedly.Luffy comforted him, "That's to be expected.He's the archer I chose.How could he lose?" Daddy looked up at Usopp, "I lost.My life is yours."
