Chapter 47 - chapter 45

Yggdrasil — The World Tree

I have watched him since before he understood what watching meant.

When Alexander Ashborn Odinson was born, the cosmos stirred—

but I did not allow it to see him.

My roots wrapped gently around his fate, not to bind…

but to shield.

The Dark Phoenix bloodline was dangerous only to those who sought dominion.

This child did not.

He cried like any other newborn.

He reached for warmth.

He laughed.

So I hid him.

Not even Eternity noticed.

Not even Death felt him.

And now—

He returned.

The Return No One Noticed

Alexander stepped back into Asgard as if he had only gone for a walk.

No thunder.

No announcement.

No cosmic echo.

Odin did not sense anything unusual.

Frigga smiled and asked if he had eaten.

Good.

The universe did not need to know.

For the following days, Alexander simply lived.

Days of Quiet Bonds

Some days, he stayed within his palace wing.

Retsu Unohana brewed tea and spoke softly with him.

Morgan le Fay debated magic theory while casually rewriting spells.

Scáthach trained him until the ground cracked.

Saber Alter stood guard, silently watching his back.

Grayfia handled affairs he didn't want to touch.

Jeanne d'Arc Alter argued with him—constantly.

Ciel stayed near, ever-present, quietly evolving.

Other days—

Amora laughed loudly at his jokes.

Lorelei sang softly in the evenings.

Sif sparred with him until both collapsed from exhaustion.

Alexander was happy.

And that mattered more than any throne.

The Queen of Hel

Sometimes—

Alexander walked paths he should not have known.

Downward.

Into Hel.

There, a woman with raven-black hair and cold green eyes spoke with him.

She never gave her name.

Never revealed her crown.

They talked.

About solitude.

About duty.

About being misunderstood.

Hela listened.

And slowly—

Her feelings grew.

She did not tell him who she was.

Not yet.

Observers Who Hesitate

From beyond—

Infinity watched.

She saw the laughter.

The bonds.

The warmth.

And felt something unfamiliar.

Jealousy.

Death observed as well.

She saw the same moments… and feared something else.

"How do I meet him?" Death wondered.

"Without frightening him?"

Neither acted.

Not yet.

Rewards Unclaimed No Longer

Alexander finally remembered.

"Oh right."

Sign-In Rewards.

Ciel materialized a list calmly.

Ancient books on magic Uru metal A crafting furnace, comparable to Nidavellir's Star Forge Pokémon tree seeds: Oran, Sitrus, Figy, Wiki, Mago, Aguav, Iapapa Fruit tree seeds: Apple, peach, and others Sakura seeds Herbs, vegetables, and medicinal plants Mystic Enhancement Ore

Alexander stared.

"…I might start farming."

Ciel nodded. "Efficient."

A Necessary Prank

One evening—

Thor slipped.

A banana peel appeared.

Thor fell.

Hard.

"LOKI—!"

Loki was already laughing.

Alexander walked past innocently.

"I regret nothing."

Awakening Without Destruction

Deep within Alexander—

The Phoenix Authority stirred.

Not violently.

Not destructively.

It awakened fully—

And chose restraint.

🔥

You were seen.

🔥

You remained yourself.

🔥

Then you are worthy.

🔥

The flames did not burn outward.

They settled.

Into his soul.

Into his bonds.

Into his life.

Yggdrasil's Final Thought

I watch still.

Not because he needs protection—

But because one day, the universe may need him.

And until then—

Let the child live.

Let the flame rest.
