Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: Plans

After the brief confrontation between Lys and kareth, they returned to their original discussion.

"So how do we destroy the GAPA organization"

Lys asked

Anika replied

"We have made preparations "

We wil use a warden to access the main headquarters of GAPA with one of the Incarnations

Fael

Who can shapeshift into any given target or person both warden and incarnation to access the headquarters.

"GAPA doesn't react," Anika says.

"It prepares."

"And right now, it's preparing for us."

Valerius folds his arms.

"They turned humans into weapons."

"They won't stop."

Rafael exhales sharply.

"So what?"

"We just wait until they aim them properly?"

Lys Speaks — Carefully

Lys hasn't moved.

He's been listening.

"Destroying GAPA isn't about force," he says.

"If we just tear it down, something worse fills the gap."

Nyra looks at him.

"So we dismantle it instead."

That word settles differently.

The Plan Takes Shape

Not shouted.

Not declared.

Built.

Phase One — Exposure

Leak synchronization research

Reveal forced compatibility trials

Publish casualty data GAPA buried

"Let humanity see what was done in its name," Nyra says.

Phase Two — Neutralization

Valerius steps forward.

"No assassinations.

No civilian harm."

Targets appear:

Power cores

Command nodes

Warden control architecture

"Cut the hands," he says,

"not the throat."

Phase Three — Collapse

Anika's voice is quiet.

"Once the Wardens lose synchronization authority…

GAPA loses relevance."

No leaders killed.

No cities burned.

Just an organization stripped of control.

Fael hesitates.

"If we do this…

we become actors on the world stage."

Rafael shrugs.

"We already are.

We just didn't choose the script."

Eyes turn to Lys.

This time, it is leadership.

Lys nods once.

"We protect civilians.

We don't rule.

And we stop when the threat ends."

A pause.

Then agreement—uneasy, but real.

Meanwhile

Kareth doesn't return to the world.

He goes deeper.

To the scar that still hasn't healed.

The site floats in dead space—coordinates erased, gravity optional.

This Eclipse is different.

Older. Smarter. Marked.

It remembers Lys.

And it remembers failure.

The darkness folds inward as Kareth steps forward, unafraid.

"You killed something interesting," he says.

The Eclipse reacts—tendrils of void probing, tasting his distortion.

Instead of rejecting it—

It responds.

Kareth allows the void inside him to open.

The Eclipse presses back.

Information flows.

Pain. Adaptation. Hatred.

And curiosity.

"Correction… hurts you," Kareth murmurs.

"Doesn't it?"

The Eclipse shudders.

It shows him the moment Lys erased its kind.

Shows him fear.

Kareth smiles.

"Then let's fix that," Kareth whispers.

His distortion doesn't stabilize the Eclipse.

It teaches it how to resist correction.

How to fracture instead of collapse. How to survive being erased.

The Eclipse changes.

Learns.

Evolves.

Back at the gathering, Lys stiffens suddenly.

A sensation like glass grinding together.

Nyra feels it too.

"Something just changed," she says.

Lys closes his eyes.

Far away, an Eclipse just learned how to hate him properly.
