Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: New Order

The Void trembles with a foreboding presence, as Kheara and the Eclipse King stand at the precipice of time. Behind them, the shifting shadows of the Eclipse army stir, restless and waiting for their masters' orders. The Void itself seems to echo with the promises of destruction and chaos.

"Lys has made his move," Kheara speaks softly, his voice barely a whisper against the roar of time itself. "He's made it clear that he doesn't trust the Wardens anymore. That's exactly what we need."

The Eclipse King watches Kheara, his form flickering between shadows and light, the very air distorting with his presence. He steps forward, his eyes glowing with dark ambition.

"The Wardens are growing weak," the Eclipse King rumbles. "And Lys, he's torn between loyalty and his desire for power. The more they fracture, the easier it will be to manipulate them. We will use him."

Kheara's lips curl into a slow, wicked smile.

"We will make him question his place in their ranks. His inner turmoil is the perfect weapon to break them apart from within. Once they're divided, we'll strike."

The Eclipse King raises his hand, and a vortex of darkness swirls in the air, revealing a map of Earth.

"The Wardens are already distracted. We'll begin with the smaller cities. Undetected. The people will be left confused, scattered, vulnerable."

In the heart of Tokyo, a news broadcast flashes with breaking headlines:

"Unknown Forces Attack Tokyo — Chaos Ensues as the City Shuts Down."

The Eclipse army moves swiftly through the streets—shadowy, otherworldly creatures, whose very presence causes distortions in time and space. The city's technology fails as the Eclipses' interference disrupts power grids and communications.

At the epicenter of the chaos stands Rafael, an Eclipse Commander, whose very aura exudes malevolent power. He smiles as he watches the destruction unfold.

"Let the world see the first taste of what's to come," Rafael muses, his voice low and filled with dark satisfaction. "We are the harbingers of the end."

A Vortex rips through the city, creating time distortions that throw everything into disarray. Buildings shimmer, as though phasing in and out of existence. People are thrown into panic as space itself warps around them.

"We'll start small," Rafael says to his subordinates. "This city will be our message. The Wardens can't protect them from what's coming."

The Eclipses don't kill indiscriminately—they want the fear to spread, the chaos to seep into the fabric of the world. They are toying with humanity, showing them that nothing is beyond the reach of the Eclipse.

Back in the Void, Kheara watches the events unfold on a shimmering screen of time. The Eclipse King stands beside him, hands clasped behind his back as the plan begins to take shape.

"We'll use Lys to break them," Kheara says, more to himself than the Eclipse King. "He will not understand at first, but the more we push him, the more he'll question his loyalty to them."

The Eclipse King nods.

"Lys is unstable. We know this. His confusion will be his undoing. We will plant seeds of doubt. The Wardens are already divided. This will only serve to push them into disarray."

Kheara's dark eyes flash with cold calculation.

"And if Lys still resists? He's more useful to us as an ally. If not, we'll deal with him like we deal with all our enemies."

Back on Earth, Captain Marek and the surviving Wardens are reeling from the recent attack in Tokyo. The Wardens are struggling to come to terms with Lys's betrayal and the growing threat of the Eclipses. They've received reports of disturbing anomalies around the world—disappearances, time distortions, and inexplicable events that point to the Eclipses making their move.

Lys's absence is deeply felt. Without him, the Wardens are scattered, unsure of how to confront the oncoming storm. Marek calls an emergency meeting to discuss strategy.

"We can't afford to be divided," Marek says firmly, looking at the faces of his loyal Wardens. "Lys may be gone, but we have to stay united. If we don't, the Eclipses will pick us off one by one."

"But Lys is the key. He's the strongest of us all. Without him, we're vulnerable."

Marek looks at the map, plotting the Eclipses' movements. Tokyo is only the beginning. The Eclipses are making their way toward more strategic cities, and it's clear the world is on the brink of a full-scale invasion.

"We don't have the luxury of waiting for Lys to come back. We need to prepare for war now."

Back in the Void, the Eclipse King smiles, watching the events unfold on Earth.

"The Wardens are already losing hope. And now, with the Eclipses' influence spreading, they'll fracture even more. It's only a matter of time before they beg for Lys to return… and when that happens, we'll be ready."

The Eclipses are no longer hiding. The world now knows the incarnations are real, and the Eclipses have made their presence known. The Wardens have no idea the Eclipses are playing a long game, preparing to strike when they are at their weakest.
