Chapter 75 - Chapter 75 : Knowing

The morning sun barely pierced the storm clouds as Lys stood on the edge of the battlefield, gazing at the horizon. The weight of the upcoming war pressed down on him, his thoughts swirling like the dark clouds gathering overhead.

Lys (internally): We need a plan... No more hesitation. The Eclipse and the Time Dragon's incarnation—everything is falling apart, and I can't afford to keep fighting alone. This isn't just about power, it's about resolve.

As Lys turned around, his thoughts were interrupted by a familiar presence. Valerius stepped forward, his radiant wings casting a soft glow in the dim light.

"Master, the preparations are complete. The GAPA forces are ready to move. But we must be cautious. The Eclipse's reach extends further than we realize, and their forces grow stronger with each passing day."

Lys nodded, his gaze hardening.

"I know. We can't afford another misstep. But... I can't shake the feeling that something is coming. Something bigger than us all."

He stepped closer, his voice softening, as if sensing Lys's unease. "That's why we need to act now. We've faced the darkness before. Together, we'll stand against it. You taught me that."

"You never forget your lessons, Valerius. But this time, I won't just lead from the front. I need you by my side... Always."

Valerius bowed his head slightly, his voice unwavering.

 "Always, Master."

The scene shifts to an intense training session with Lys and Valerius. The GAPA forces are preparing for a new offensive, and both warriors are honing their skills in the stillness before the chaos.

With a quick movement, he summoned a sword of pure light, its blade cutting through the air with a hum of power. "Master, your combat style has evolved. You're stronger than before."

Using his gravity manipulation, he flipped backward, sending an energy blast that pushed back Valerius. "I've had to evolve. The weight of everything... It's on my shoulders."

Valerius responded by summoning a radiant shield of light to deflect the blow, then swinging his blade toward Lys.

That's why you don't carry it alone. We fight together. No one gets left behind."

Lys blocked the strike with a burst of Aetherium energy, his eyes gleaming with renewed purpose.

Later, in a war room within the GAPA headquarters, Lys and Valerius stand before a large table covered with maps of the battlefield. GAPA commanders and other key figures gather around, discussing the strategy for the next phase of the war.

"The Eclipse has been steadily building their forces in the eastern territories. We need to hit them before they can fortify their positions."

Lys looks at the map, his fingers tracing the lines where the Eclipse's influence is growing stronger.

"We take the initiative. We'll strike the heart of their power. I want a full-scale assault—no holding back."

Valerius stepped up beside him, his celestial wings casting a glow over the war room.

"And if the Time Dragon's incarnation makes a move?"

His voice low, but filled with authority. "We deal with it when it comes. But for now, the Eclipse king must fall."

After the meeting, Valerius and Lys stand at the edge of the war room, looking out over the preparation grounds where soldiers and allies are gearing up for the battle.

"This is it. The final phase. I'm with you, Lys. We'll end this, together."

Lys glanced at him, his face etched with determination.

"I'm not just fighting for victory, Valerius. I'm fighting for everything we've lost."

The two of them stood in silence for a moment before Lys turned back toward the battlefield, ready to lead the charge. But deep inside, he knew that this war wouldn't be won with power alone. It would take everything they had—and more.
