A moment later, Eleanor, Isabel, and Lady Glowen marched into the room.
All three women were carrying bags, boxes, and baby supplies while arguing loudly among themselves.
Behind them came Emily, whose arms were loaded with brightly wrapped packages.
"I'm telling you, the blue blanket is softer," Eleanor insisted.
"That is not the point," Isabel argued. "The point is that it doesn't match the theme."
Lady Glowen rolled her eyes.
"You two realize that the babies aren't going to care about a theme, right?"
They all stopped when they noticed Lyvana sitting comfortably beside Julian on the sofa.
"What's going on?" Isabel asked.
"Errm, I think I should be asking you that instead." Lyvana said lifting an eyebrow.
The women stared at Julian.
"Weren't you supposed to keep her in the room until we were done decorating." Eleanor said.
Julian passed a hand through his hair. "Was that today?"
