1. Looking for Tridevi Explorations
Group A: Collaborative World-Building (Co-Author Style):
A space where we brainstorm, research, and co-author a Tridevi framework together—mythological, philosophical, or AU-based.
Possible Tridevi configurations (open for discussion):
•Śrī – Saraswatī – Satī
•Lakṣmī – Saraswatī – Umā
My working hypothesis (context, not dogma):
1. Umā appears earlier in textual traditions than Satī.
2. The name Pārvatī seems to emerge later, and Satī later still.
3. I view Pārvatī and Satī as later personifications or narrative crystallizations of Umā, much like Lakṣmī functions as a personified expansion of Śrī rather than a completely separate origin.
This group is for people who enjoy questioning timelines, tracing layers of myth-making, and imagining alternatives without defaulting to later orthodox syntheses.
Important note on boundaries: I do not consider Kālī, Durgā, Caṇḍī, Caṇḍikā, Cāmuṇḍā, Bhavānī, Bhairavī, Tārā, etc. as manifestations of Pārvatī or as inherently Śhiva consorts. I do not consider Parvati as complete manifestation of Adi Shakti/Adi Parashakti.
For me, their later merger into a single "wife of Śhiva" narrative reflects syncretisation that caused significant erasure of older, independent goddess traditions.
This space is meant to unpack that process, not reinforce it.
Group B: Tridevi Roleplay
A character-driven roleplay focusing on the Tridevi—dialogues, debates, bonds, tensions, philosophies, and cosmological roles.
Mythic, philosophical, or AU tones welcome
Less academic than Group A, more experiential
Still respectful of distinct identities (no forced syncretism)
