CHAPTER 63-Part-2

Once the call ended, the room settled into a quiet lull. Hana chatted casually from the couch while Seungjo remained at his desk, occasionally moving a pen or shifting papers to look occupied.

For Yeonho, who had been crouched in the dark, restricted space beneath the desk for nearly twenty minutes, physical discomfort was settling in. His stomach began to rumble, the quiet growling noise growing progressively louder in the stillness.

"I'm starving..." Yeonho mumbled to himself, pressing a palm against his abdomen.

Unable to endure the cramped confinement any longer, he reached out and gently tugged on the hem of Seungjo's trousers, flicking his fingers against the fabric to draw his attention down.

Seungjo cast a quick glance toward the sofa, ensuring Hana's attention was elsewhere, before dropping his head slightly.

"What now?"

"Are you two not done yet?" Yeonho whispered, resting his chin directly on Seungjo's knee.

"Get off me."

"But I'm dying from hunger."

"And what do you expect me to do about it?" Seungjo muttered back coldly.

Yeonho didn't move, gazing up at him with wide, demanding eyes.

"I need food, or I'm going to pass out right under your desk. I haven't eaten a real meal all day—just a piece of bread this morning."

"Not my problem. Now get off."

"No. I'm serious, I feel sick. Did you forget what Gyeongjae told you? My nose was bleeding the other day. I'm supposed to be recovering."

'Yeah, I'm recovering, so forgot about that part where I acted like a bitch in heat last night.'

Seungjo went silent, his expression unreadable. Yeonho watched him closely, trying to gauge his reaction. If Seungjo refused, Yeonho was fully prepared to make a scene.

Just because his pure, angelic sister was sitting ten feet away didn't mean Seungjo could let him starve on the floor.

"Are you just going to stare at me?" Yeonho pushed, his voice dropping into a sharp threat.

"I said I'm hungry. Get her out of here and order something, or I'll make enough noise to bring her over here myself."

Leaning back in his chair, Seungjo closed his eyes for a brief moment, making his decision. As much as he had intended to spend the afternoon with Hana, he realized he had no practical choice but to yield to Yeonho's demands.

If Yeonho decided to act up or pull another vulgar stunt while Hana was in the room, the fallout would be catastrophic. If Hana found her estranged twin brother hiding under his desk, explaining the situation would be impossible.

"Stay quiet," Seungjo commanded strictly.

He stood up from his leather chair and walked across the carpet toward Hana.

"Are you finished with your paperwork?" Hana asked, looking up at him with a warm smile.

"Not quite," Seungjo replied, keeping his tone measured. "Something urgent just came up. I'm sorry, Hana, but this matter needs my immediate attention. I need you to head out for today."

"What?" Hana's smile faltered.

Seungjo let out a quiet sigh, running a hand through his hair. He couldn't believe he was actually kicking Hana out just to feed Yeonho.

"One of my main models ran into an issue, and I need to handle it personally," Seungjo lied smoothly. "I'll make it up to you with a dinner date as soon as my schedule clears up."

Clearly frustrated, Hana stood up from the couch, her disappointment evident.

"What is going on with all of you lately?" she murmured, her tone laced with quiet resentment. "First Gyeongjae, then Min-hyuk, and now you... even Jaewhan made excuses to avoid me recently. Am I asking for that much? I just wanted to spend some time together..."

She lowered her head, pouting slightly as she smoothed down her skirt.

Beneath the desk, Yeonho could hear every word, a sneer curling his lips.

He knew her better than anyone—behind that innocent, hurt facade, she was boiling with rage over the constant rejections she was receiving from the men around her.

And every single one of those rejections was a direct result of his influence. He could already picture her running straight to her devoted secretary, complaining and venting her frustration.

Hearing her words, a momentary pang of guilt hit Seungjo.

"I'll just leave," Hana said quietly, turning toward the door.

Seungjo reached out a hand, feeling the urge to soothe her. "Wait, Hana—"

Before he could finish his sentence, the heavy office doors clicked shut, her figure disappearing into the hallway.

The second the door closed, Yeonho crawled out from under the desk, stretching his stiff legs as he walked over to Seungjo.

"Let's get food. I'm starving." He sank into the cushions, resting his arms casually along the backrest.

Seungjo turned around, his eyes dark with suppressed anger. "Are you satisfied now?"

"Almost," Yeonho replied with a faint, shameless smile. "I'll be fully satisfied once I actually get food in my stomach."

"Get out and go eat somewhere else," Seungjo said flatly, walking back toward his desk.

"I'm not leaving this room," Yeonho retorted, crossing his legs. "If I step out there looking like this, I'm doomed. I'm ordering delivery right here."

He quickly opened a food app and started browsing through options. He could feel Seungjo's icy gaze practically drilling a hole into his head, but he completely ignored it.

Seungjo squeezed his eyes shut, holding back his rising anger as he sat back down to work, trying to drown out his irritation.

Ten minutes later, the delivery driver arrived outside the executive suite. Yeonho remained comfortably seated on the couch, making no move to answer the door. Instead, he looked over at Seungjo, gesturing for him to go pick it up.

Seungjo snapped, refusing to be ordered around like an errand-boy, but Yeonho offered a surprisingly solid argument.

"If I go out there, the driver might recognize my face and post about it online," Yeonho pointed out.

"Then some trashy news outlet will spin a fake scandal out of it. Or worse, he'll try to blackmail you for cash. You really want that headache?"

As someone who managed high-profile celebrities for a living, Seungjo couldn't deny the logic. He'd seen plenty of actors get dragged into messy scandals over ridiculous slip-ups like that.

Refusing to risk a public scandal, sighing in defeat, Seungjo stood up and went to the door himself.

"Aren't you a good boy, Hahaha" Yeonho mocked, watching Seungjo.

Seungjo looked back, completely pissed.

"Say that again."

"Sorry..." Yeonho muffled a laugh.

When he opened the door, the delivery driver bowed respectfully upon seeing the Chairman of the company.

"Ah, Good day sir." The delivery driver greeted.

Beyond Seungjo's shoulder, the driver's eyes subtly tried to catch a glimpse of the striking blonde figure lounging inside the room, but Seungjo immediately stepped into his line of sight, blocking the view entirely.

"How much?" Seungjo asked flatly.

"Yes?"

"I said how much."

"It's 80,000 won, sir," the driver answered nervously, handing over a large, insulated paper bag that radiated heat and the rich aroma of freshly cooked food.

Pulling out his leather wallet, Seungjo extracted a stack of high-denomination bills and handed them over without counting, taking the heavy paper bag into his arm.

"Here."

The driver looked down at the cash in surprise. "Sir, this is far too much—"

"Keep the change."

"But—"

Seungjo shut the heavy door right in his face, walked back over to the coffee table, and set the heavy bag down in front of Yeonho.

The delicious aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air.

He pulled the containers out of the bag, arranging the dishes across the table, and immediately began eating with genuine appetite.

Seungjo sat back at his desk, watching Yeonho eat for a quiet minute before forcing his attention back to his work files.

"Unbelievable..." Seungjo shook, rubbing his temple.

The entire situation was absurd. Never in his life had he envisioned a scenario where Hana's toxic, scheming twin brother would be sitting comfortably inside his company office, eating a luxury meal that Seungjo himself had paid for and retrieved.

Yeonho was supposed to be the enemy—someone to be controlled, punished, and kept away from Hana at all costs.

Yet somehow, Seungjo found himself getting dragged by the neck by this arrogant blonde, bowing to his every whim.

Once he finished eating, Yeonho headed to the private adjoining dressing room to change out of the high-fashion photoshoot attire, slipping back into his soft, casual clothing.

That afternoon, Seungjo attended a high-level meeting with the PR department and board executives, reviewing the final edits from the morning's photo shoot.

Meanwhile, Yeonho was discreetly guided on a tour through the upper levels of the facility by a senior assistant Seungjo had assigned to him.

Everything proceeded without further incident.

By the time the sun began to set over the city, Seungjo met Yeonho in the private basement garage to drive him back to his hotel.

The sleek sedan pulled into a darkened drop-off zone near the hotel's side entrance.

Yeonho pulled a black face mask over his jaw, fixing a baseball cap low over his forehead and putting on dark-rimmed glasses. He adjusted his appearance in the mirror, double-checking his coverage.

"Does my face look properly covered?" Yeonho asked, turning his head toward Seungjo.

Seungjo scanned him up and down, his eyes landing on the faint, dark purple kiss marks scattered across Yeonho's neck and collarbone—marks that had begun showing through as his body makeup wore off over the day.

Noticing Seungjo's gaze lingering on his neck, Yeonho looked back into the mirror, clicking his tongue in annoyance.

"Ah, the makeup's wearing off. Hold on, let me grab my bag and reapply some concealer. Give me five minutes."

As Yeonho began rummaging through his bag for his makeup kit, Seungjo unbuttoned his heavy designer overcoat, pulled it off his shoulders, and tossed it into Yeonho's lap.

Yeonho blinked in surprise, looking down at the heavy material before realizing what it was for.

"Thanks," Yeonho said, a sly smile returning to his face. "I'll give it back to you later."

"Keep it," Seungjo replied coldly, looking straight ahead at the road. "I don't want it back."

"Whatever you say. I'll keep it then, it smells just like you anyway." Yeonho hummed, lifting the collar of the coat to his nose and taking a deliberate, slow sniff before slipping his arms into the sleeves. He buttoned it all the way up to his chin, completely concealing his neck.

"I'm heading out," Yeonho said, pushing the passenger door open. His boots hit the pavement with a soft thud, but instead of stepping out completely, he paused in the doorframe.

"Get moving—" Seungjo started to say.

Before Seungjo could react, Yeonho leaned across the center console with lightning speed, pressing his lips firmly against Seungjo's in a sudden, lingering kiss.

"Choi Yeonho—!" Seungjo snapped, his voice sharp with anger.

Partnering lightning-fast agility with his cocky attitude, Yeonho slammed the car door shut before Seungjo could explode, letting out a muffled laugh behind his mask, pulling the coat collar tighter around his throat as he strutted toward the hotel's sliding glass doors.

'Man, his angry face is hilarious.'

He rode the elevator up to his room, completely satisfied with how the day had played out.
