"Sea Queen, do you think there will be another attack on Queen Serelyth?" Lucian asks, turning his attention toward Lady Bestie.
"If their objective was to assassinate Cyrina and stop Serelyth from gaining her royal spell... well, they have at least managed to achieve one of their goals," Lady Bestie answers, her voice tinged with a solemn acceptance. "As even you know, the royal spell ritual can only happen once in a lifetime, and she has unfortunately failed it. Because of that, I don't think they will try to harm her again. There's no longer a purpose."
"Very well. Then can I leave her safety and the governance of the ocean entirely to you?" Lucian states, his posture shifting back into his commanding, efficient state. "I would like to take Cyrina back to the Empire with me immediately... I have to start looking for this man, Astrael Ash."
Lady Bestie gives a firm nod. "Take your formal leave, and you may depart with your beloved wife."
