Before you step fully into this world, I would like to share a few words—not as a storyteller, but as the author behind the pages.
This story is my writing experiment.
Dominion of Will is a world I am building piece by piece: its history, its people, its conflicts, and its truths. Some elements will be revealed slowly, others only when the time is right. Not everything will make sense at once—and that is intentional.
A few things you should know before continuing:
This is not a single-hero story.While Lucius Castus is the central figure, the world does not revolve around him alone. Many characters, from different lands and beliefs, will walk their own paths. Sometimes their stories will intersect. Sometimes they will clash.
The story uses multiple perspectives.At times, the narrative will shift between third-person and first-person viewpoints. This is a deliberate choice to create a closer bond between the reader and certain characters—especially Lucius.
Power in this world has structure and consequences.Strength is not infinite, nor is it free. Every path—whether of the sword or the mind—demands sacrifice. Growth comes with scars.
Morality is not black and white.Nations, clans, empires, and individuals all believe they are right. Hatred, loyalty, tradition, and fear shape this world just as much as magic or steel.
Most importantly:
This story will take its time.
Some answers will come quickly. Others may take dozens of chapters. I ask only for patience—and curiosity.
