Lyra accepted the glass of juice from Emma without the slightest suspicion, her eyes sparkling with joy and sincerity.
"Thank you, Emma," she said, a smile blooming on her lips as the two of them clinked glasses.
They drank together and continued chatting happily. The conversation flowed naturally, filled with stories about music and their passion for the harp. Emma skillfully guided the conversation, creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere. But deep inside, she was silently counting down the time, waiting for her plan to begin taking effect.
When the bell rang, signaling that the opening performance was about to begin, Lyra politely excused herself.
"It's time for the performance. I have to go prepare. Thank you for such an interesting conversation, Emma. I hope we'll have the chance to meet again," Lyra said, her face full of excitement.
