After two days of studying diligently with Lucas, Emma felt much more confident. The new knowledge Lucas had taught her not only helped improve her harp skills, but also broadened her understanding of music in general. But alongside that progress, Emma knew she could not delay any longer. She had promised Ricard she would teach him the harp, and now it was time to keep that promise.
On the afternoon of the third day, after finishing her lesson with Lucas, Emma sat down on the sofa in the living room, holding her phone and hesitating briefly before dialing Ricard's number. She took a deep breath to calm herself. In her mind, she had already planned this call, knowing Ricard might worry about her health. But Emma was determined, and she did not want to let him refuse.
The phone rang a few times before Ricard answered.
"Emma?" His voice sounded low and warm, but he could not hide his surprise.
