After returning from the dungeon, Rex took some time to rest and reflect. He was no longer just a fighter; he had begun to think about his own life. Spending time in the castle, learning new things, and talking with people was a completely different experience.
In the breakfast hall, he encountered other students and warriors. One of them approached and greeted him:
"You're Rex, right? Just came back from the dungeon?"
Rex gave a small smile.
"Yes… I'm still pretty new here," he replied.
Curious, the others asked,
"What level are you now? D-Rank?"
Rex nodded.
"Yes, I'm now D-Rank. But I still have a long way to go."
A young warrior beside him spoke excitedly:
"My name's Lior. Nice to meet you. We could train together — we need to be ready for the next dungeon adventure."
Rex smiled and responded:
"Thanks, Lior. I'd like to train with you. I want to learn new things."
As he spent more time in the castle, Rex met several other characters:
Mira, a skilled archer with a playful attitude, Elion, a quiet but intelligent mage, And Taran, a slightly shy but strong warrior.
Sitting together at a table, they started chatting, and Rex felt at ease. After all the dungeon battles, talking with people gave him a different kind of feeling. He shared not only his strength but also his dreams, fears, and past experiences with them.
Rex thought for a moment:
"The world used to feel so dark to me… But here, in this castle, maybe I can build a new life. Being strong isn't just about fighting. You also need friends and allies."
And so, Rex prepared for his next adventure, not only as a warrior but also as someone who made friends, learned about others, and began taking control of his own life.
