"Stop that. You can't use that here," Ren said nevertheless. "Take it back."
"But they tried harming you," Yan said.
"I said stop it," Ren insisted.
Yan sighed with a smile and then said, "Whatever you say, my dear." He waved his fingers at them. The magic was cleared off, and immediately, the guards all got up to their feet and ran away.
"Save us!"
"Sorcery!"
"Black magic!"
"The devils!"
They all rushed into the Sun Pavilion.
Ren sighed as he ran a hand through his forehead. "Please... you should know that you can't use magic here in the mortal realm. It's not appropriate."
Yan smiled. "I know. I just couldn't bear to see them bully you." He now approached Ren. "It's been a while since we met. I was looking for you everywhere, and now I finally found you..."
He was about to get closer when Zuran instantly stepped into the scene. He stood between Ren and Yan, casting Yan a cold glare.
