Severus Snape was having a very pleasant, productive evening.
He had enjoyed brewing several potions for Madame Pomfrey's stores, and was going to brew several more before the day was out.
He was most definitely going to enjoy a quiet evening meal, and he was going to finish reading 'Foundations of Forbidden Formulations' – a rather thick tome he had picked up some months earlier but had never gotten through before.
After that, he was going to have a glass or two of Merlot before retiring early for the night, and he was going to have a good night's rest.
All these things Severus knew.
He also knew that he was absolutely not, under any circumstances, missing Harry Potter.
He bottled another vial of Dreamless Sleep and began to tidy his brewing station so that he could move onto his next project – a batch of Pepperup Potion. Not the most interesting of potions of course, but ones that he could turn around without much thought
