Chapter 32 - Let's Dance

Bell walked towards the dungeon. Liberator sheathed at his waist. Adventurers walked in and out of the dungeon, some with minor injuries, some with their teammates carrying them.

He walked through throngs of adventurers with casual ease. A intense gaze followed him. It was becoming more normal to feel stalked by a certain Goddess whenever he stepped out of home.

His steps moved with uncanny fluidity as he dove into the dungeon. Reaching the 1st floor in a moment.

Goblins greeted him with their usual growls. Liberator flashed. And was sheathed a moment later.

A passing by adventurer blinked. But Bell was no longer there.

He was already standing at the door of the 2nd floor. Meanwhile, all the groups of goblins behind him were disintegrating into monster drops.

Goblins were increasing his new Falna... But they were not enough. It was time to push deeper into the dungeon.

2nd floor...3rd floor...5th floor...8th floor...10th floor...

11th floor of the dungeon.

Silverbacks surrounded him. All of them towering over him. One swung it's arms at his legs from the left. Another swung it's hands at his chest from the right.

Golden pathways exploded across his awareness. Victory sang in his ears.

How could he loose when he already saw himself win?

He jumped slightly above the arms swinging at his legs. His legs landing on the ape's arm for a moment.

The other arm heading for his his chest was already there. Yet his lips had a small smile.

His back bent with fluidity. Exactly one centimeter distance was kept between the arm and his chest as the arm moved closer yet he bent his spine backwards with uncanny precision.

The arm aiming for his chest moved over him as he bent his back fully like a bow. The arm beneath his feet also moved. His feet sliding from it.

He caught himself by doing a handstand as both the apes arms passed him by.

Bell opened his legs like a T towards the faces of the silverbacks in a handstand. [Grega] fireballs materialised ahead of his feet. Launched straight towards their face. Putting them out of commission.

He backflipped to land on his legs. Other silverbacks roared towards him from all sides. Liberator was unsheathed. Flashing with erratic movements.

His feet slid across the ground as a fist passed by where he was a moment ago. Punches rained down from all sides. Trying to drown him under their sheer scale.

He let his body flow to the rhythm of golden pathways across his vision. Not a single punch touched him as hundreds of punches rained down.

His feet slid. His body dodged. His being flowed.

He was drowned under the pounding punches of silverbacks.

Yet, instead of panic...He danced.

His body danced to a symphony only his ears could hear.

The symphony of victory.

Before a punch was aimed at him...He already knew where it would land.

Before an arm swung for him...He already knew where it would sweep.

Before hundreds of punches aimed for him...He had already won.

Instinct choreographed. Liberator sung. He danced.

By the time his dance stopped...He had already won.

Magic cores of hundreds of silverbacks surrounded him. Yet, he ignored them.

12th floor of the dungeon...Awaited him.

Hard Armored monsters surrounded him. They looked like Armadillos. Apparently they had the highest defense on upper floors. Making it almost impossible for a Level 1 adventurer to defeat them one on one.

Golden pathways flashed, rewove and solidified in his vision.

All hard armored monsters jumped at him. Wanting to crush him under their collective weight.

Bell's smile became amused. A light laugh left his lips as he took two steps forward and plunged liberator into the ground...Exactly where he wanted.

He watched as the hard armored monster's hard shells and weighty bodies headed to crush him.

His legs tensed as he did a light jump. His foot coming to rest on the bottom of liberator's handle facing the ceiling.

He maintained impeccable balance while standing on liberator with a foot.

The hard armored monsters collided against each other before touching liberator. Recoiling back by impact.

Liberator was buried at the exact angle where they would collide with each other before touching his sword.

Fire balls of [Grega] roared to existence behind him. Revolving in a circle behind his back.

He was standing there. Balanced on liberator with one foot. Fire balls revolving behind his back. Hard Armored monsters rebounding by colliding with each other instead of crushing him.

"Go..." Bell spoke. Balanced on liberator.

The fire balls behind him accurately hit each hard armored monsters eyes. Their brain turning to mush by heat.

More and more fire balls of [Grega] continued boom in existence behind him. Then launched towards the leftover monsters.

The monsters of *Danmachi* tasted the horror of suppressive artillery fire by Bell's hands. They would probably have pyrophobia from now on. If they survived that is.

Meanwhile,

[Grega] kept bombing the monsters to kingdom come.

None were left after some time.

These were monsters even peak Level 1 adventurers found almost impossible to defeat without a team. Yet, Bell folded them like a wet towel.

Apparently, he was just built different.

Bell concluded while coming down from liberator and sheathed it back. His steps walking towards the next floor.

13th floor of the dungeon.

He was confused. Where were the monsters of this floor? There literally was not a single soul around. Not even other adventurers.

Bell had a bad feeling about this.

Suddenly, as he was walking through the floor. The whole floor started to shake. Unbeknownst to him, not just his floor but all floors from the 18th to 1st were shaking.

Even Orario seemed to shake for a moment.

He did not know the specifics but something like this had indeed happened in *Danmachi*.

'Is 'that' about to happen?'

Bell wondered with a grimace. Already imagining the shit show ahead if his guess was true.

He didn't have time to mull over his thoughts as footsteps resounded ahead of him.

A far eastern man with lightly tanned skin and a tough build was carrying an injured girl on his back.

Another far eastern women with an attractive figure and bluish purple eyes holding a katana seemed to cover their flank.

The man looked at him. Then looked back from the place they ran away from. And then conveniently ignored him while running away even faster than before.

The women with an attractive figure looked at him with guilt. Her expression torn between helping and running away. However, when she looked at the injured girl on the man's back. Her steps turned firm as she followed the man.

Was this Deja Vu?

Didn't he go through something like this sometime before?

He recognised these adventurers after a single look.

Takemikazuchi Familia. Yamato Mikoto. Kashimo Ouka. Hitachi Chigusa.

Bell let out a tired sigh as he watched them scramble away like mice.

To be honest.

If he didn't know these were good kids and their God Takemikazuchi was also a good guy, then a certain executive of 'Evilus' would've made an appearance here with his iconic 'Jie Jie Jie' laugh.

He started to walk ahead as a whole monster parade became visible to him. There were hundreds of monsters consisting of Hellhounds, Almirajs and Silverbacks who now hurried towards him instead of the Takemikazuchi Familia who had already ran away.

His steps moved towards the monster parade without a tremble of fear.

At his first step.

Adrenaline flushed through his veins. Blood pumped unrestrained. Blood vessels and muscles tore apart at his monstrous blood flow. [Super Regeneration] healed the damage.

By his second step.

[Ittou Shura] sparked to life. His strength scaled upwards. His speed ascended to another level altogether.

His third step was followed by gold.

All the golden pathways in his vision faded away. Only a singular, shining pathway to victory remained.

There was still some distance between him and the monster parade.

Fire balls of [Grega] exploded to existence behind his back. Revolving in a circular formation.

Meanwhile,

The Wheel with eight spokes slowly loomed to life above his head. The spokes of the wheel spun once.

*Clunk*

Counters to the surrounding danger followed in the form of comprehension.

Comprehension of [Grega].

[Grega]...Literally meaning Flame. It was a spell from the world of *Misfit Of The Demon King Academy*. He had been using the skill in the form of fire balls since he had gotten it. But the spell was called Flame... not Fire Ball.

He could do so much more with [Grega].

That singular pathway in his vision exploded into countless paths.

1...10...50...100

Yet, just as quickly all these golden paths in his vision collapsed inwards. Combining into a singular, brilliantly shining pathway to triumph.

100...50...10...1

Bell gave a slight smile. His hand spread towards the oncoming monster parade.

All the fire balls behind him merged into a singular and dense flame ball with enormous size. The flame slowly lost it's shape and crawled along his arm towards his hand.

He spoke.

"Fuga (Open)..."

A bow of flames slowly took shape in his hand. His fingers pointed towards the monster parade. His other hand pulled back as an arrow made of compressed flames of [Grega] slowly took shape.

He watched the monster parade heading for him and slowly loosened the arrow.

BOOOM!

A sonic boom was heard as the arrow tore through speed of sound towards the monster parade.

Hell descended in response. Flames swallowed everything.

Bell stood among the devastation. Flames burned even his own body. [Super Regeneration] healed the burns.

Spokes of the wheel above his head spun lazily. Building gradual resistance towards flames.

He did not have time to appreciate the ruin surrounding him.

'That' monster awaited in deeper floors.

It was his golden ticket to Level up to Level 2.

Bell mused.

Let's dance...Dungeon.
