Tera calmly stepped forward, producing a soft petal-cloth from a hidden fold in her skirt and gently wiping the first tear from Titania's cheek, before moving back.
"GASP! Guys… Do you think… Benjamin doesn't like me?" Titania's voice wobbled. "Maybe he thinks I'm b-b-bad for snatching him away suddenly?!"
This time around, Tera and Tesa finally broke their emotionless fronts a little; they made slightly worried expressions.
Then they moved closer, slowly and with careful steps, until they flanked her on the bed.
Tesa reached out and rubbed the top of Titania's head gently, as her fingers slide through the silver hair of the queen.
"Calm yourself. We do not know that yet, Titania," Tesa said softly, using her name instead of the title. "Even though he seems suspicious to me, I don't think the god-touched is so cruel."
